Project technology of production hooped components and structural design tools
Zachoval, Jan ; Samek, Radko (referee) ; Žák, Ladislav (advisor)
This diploma thesis has been elaborated within the Master's study of department 2307 that submits a production hooped component. The material of the component is steel ČSN 15 130. Single – part as far as small–lot production. On the basis of the literary study problems bend tubing was sugested the method: rotary draw bending. For this method was sugested mechanical bending machine with mandrel support arm, for bending with mandrel and exact bends in three – dimensional.
Manufacturing of pipe straps
Suchomel, Svatoslav ; Samek, Radko (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
The diploma work contains a solution of the production technology of a sleeve made of metal sheet 11 373.1, the thickness of which is 1,5mm, in the required amount of 36,000pcs a year. Out of all possible options, the production of cutting and bending in a sequential combination tool was chosen. Based on the literary study and performed calculations the tool is designed and chosen eccentric press LEN 40 C. The price of 2,40 CZK for a piece is derived from the economic evaluation. The work contains drawing documentation of chosen parts of the tool and its assembly.
Production of cold forging parts
Jedovnický, Jan ; Samek, Radko (referee) ; Špaček, Jindřich (advisor)
A project developed during a magister´s study of a program M-STM Mechanical engineering and industrial management brings in a proposal of a technology of cold forging part out of 12 040 steel. The forging on a multi-stage processual automatic machine TPZK 25 with nominal forming power 5000 kN was projected based on consultations, study of literary resources a calculations.
Dynamic Properties of Combined Rivet and Adhesive Bonded Joints
Urík, Tomáš ; Samek, Radko (referee) ; Petrásek, Miloslav (referee) ; Klement, Josef (advisor)
The improvement of static properties of combined rivet and adhesive bonded joints have been proven by several authors [1, 2]. On the other side, dynamic properties of joints (for example fatigue and corrosion) significantly affect final function of structures during their service life. In this thesis, the combine joints created by blind rivets and hyper elastic sealant are solved. Complex description of dynamic properties of this particular combined joining technology has not been publicised, yet. Description of sealant layer influence on stress concentration in rivet hole regions is one of the main goal of this work. The next stage of the thesis is focused on the influence of above mentioned sealant layer on fatigue properties of combined blind rivet and solid countersunk rivet joints. Stress strain analysis of rivet and combined joints done by FE analysis and by experimental optical measurement of strain field proved that hyper elastic sealant layer has a positive effect on decreasing of stress peaks in rivet hole regions. This findings are in direct compliance with fatigue measurement of combined joint (AAPL). The influence of applied sealant in this combined joints improved fatigue properties by twenty percentage increasing of stress to failure in comparison with rivet joints.
Flaring the End of a Tube Under Static and Dynamic Conditions
Šrefl, Martin ; Samek, Radko (referee) ; Peterková, Eva (advisor)
The thesis is focused on expanding the ends of the tubes made of 1.4031 material into a cone shape for quasi-static and dynamic conditions. The aim of the research is the analysis of stress-strain condition in the area formed under the process conditions. As a technology test for expanding tubes is used a method of pushing the tube at a stationary mandrel and deformation measurement was done by 3D optical system ARAMIS. In the thesis is described in detail an experiment carried out under quasi-static conditions, the results of which yielded interesting findings. In the framework of the present study were designed and detailed engineering design and production tools designed for experimental realization of technological tests for quasi-static and dynamic conditions. Exploration in terms of the behavior of tube under dynamic conditions forming in this thesis is carried out in phase functional verification tools. The analysis of the forming process is planned in the framework of the next thesis.
Stretch forming with tensile force
Kužela, Josef ; Samek, Radko (referee) ; Peterková, Eva (advisor)
The submitted work developed within the bachelor study B-STI Mechanical engineering deals with bending technology in combination with tensile force. The work is created on the basis of literary study overview and description of the principle of bending technology with the tensile power, a description of the methods, tools and machines used, advantages and disadvantages of the above methods and examples of modern production processes and manufactured parts. The work also includes a comparison with simple bending method.
Proposal of a tool for radial expanding of axial symetrical components
Střílka, Vlastimil ; Forejt, Milan (referee) ; Samek, Radko (advisor)
STŘÍLKA VLASTIMIL, Proposal of a tool for radial expanding of axial symetrical components Diploma work, 5th year, School year 2008/2009, educational group 5O/61, FS VUT in Brno, Institute of Manufacturing Technology, department of forming, May 2009 An object of this diploma work is location suitable manufacturing proposal for production engaged part of form ring from materials 17 246 segments tool. As a half- finished product of this part will be use a weldment metal plate from materials 17 246.1, the used welding technology is butt weld by laser beam. Choice of suitable manufacturing variety will be made from more construction proposal tool. Appearance to financial costs, mode of radial expanding and so from aspekt functionality and next processing part. We choice variety NO. 3. I implemented calculation usefull forming power and process factor. I affixed to the dokument plan configuration choose variety.
Solution of bendig technology problems of thinn walled profiles
Matoušek, Karel ; Forejt, Milan (referee) ; Samek, Radko (advisor)
Reconnaissance of problems and parameters of square hollow profile bend. Finding (identification) of deformation of cross-section. Finding of suitability of unannealed material for component part. Finding of mechanical characteristics of welds and influence of their bend position. This finding was done on the basis of comparison of tensile tests and consequently aplicated to specific part where the suitability for use of unannealed material were proved.
