Modern Transmissions Used in Tractor’s Construction
Dračka, Miroslav ; Řehák, Kamil (referee) ; Prokop, Aleš (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis summarizes and describes the modern transmissions used in tractor´s construction. For each gearbox there is a description of its construction with respect for the control of the tractor driver. Examples of gearboxes from four global tractor manufactures are used to illustrate and clarify this issue.
Design of Reversing Gearbox for Historic Railway Draisine
Rekem, Jakub ; Řehák, Kamil (referee) ; Prokop, Aleš (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis deals with the design of the reversing gearbox for the historic railway draisine. First part of the work is devoted to the overview of power units of railway draisines and technical solutions used in their design. The next part contains the description of the original reversing gearbox. The rest of the work explores the design of the gearbox itself.
Design of a Unified Mechanism of Shifting and Activation of the Parking Brake
Hagara, Adam ; Řehák, Kamil (referee) ; Prokop, Aleš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of a unified mechanism of shifting and activation of the parking lock. The theoretical part is devoted to a more detailed description of the current shifting mechanisms, synchrosystems and parking lock mechanisms. The practical part starts with the analysis of the movements and positions of the individual mechanisms, followed by conceptual designs and the selection of the most suitable one. This is followed by the final design elaboration, which includes the development of a force analysis and torque calculations. The functionality of the geometry of the designed mechanism is verified by dynamic analysis, while the other components of the mechanism are detailed. Finally, an FEM analysis of the components of the unified mechanism is performed to confirm the functionality of the selected design. The thesis also includes a drawing documentation attached in the annex.
Methods for the wear determination of a railway wheel
Čížek, Petr ; Prokop, Aleš (referee) ; Řehák, Kamil (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the problem of measuring the wear of railway wheels. Railway wheels are subject to high loads and therefore their profile also suffers from high wear. Early exposure of a damaged wheel can prevent fatal train accidents, and hence there is a need to measure wear not only periodically in laboratory but also in during train operation. Wear measurement methods are currently divided into 3 types, the most developed of which are the on-track and laboratory measurement methods. On-train measurement methods are in most cases only at the study stage due to the difficulty of their application to the train set.
Present Trends is Power Increasing of CI and SI Engines
Svoboda, Radim ; Prokop, Aleš (referee) ; Dundálek, Radim (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis contains history and ways of turbocharging diesel and ignition engines. In the chapters are briefly itemized the advantages and disadvantages of various methods, design solutions and most often used in practice. The last part of this thesis focuses on the calculation of the turbocharger.
Dirt Bike Suspension Construction
Kučera, Vlastimil ; Prokop, Aleš (referee) ; Janoušek, Michal (advisor)
Front suspension significantly influences the characteristics of the motorcycle, so it is necessary to deal with the problem. The bachelor thesis presents individual suspension functions, it describes and explains function of air spring and coil spring forks, analyzes the damping system and shows the options for settings of the forks. It compares the design of the forks used in production motocross motorcycles from 2016 and 2017 and refers to their potential advantages or disadvantages. The forks d iffer from each other mainly by the type of spring, and whether each leg contains spring and damper or they have a separate function. Each solution has its advantages and disadvantages, it depends mainly on the overall setting of the fork.
Test Rig Design Proposal for the Experimental Validation of Transmission Parameters in Open Loop Torque Condition
Máca, Jiří ; Janoušek, Michal (referee) ; Prokop, Aleš (advisor)
This final diploma thesis deals with the issue of vibration and noise measurement of transmission devices. The research part describes the basic issues of noise and vibration generation, their measurement, as well as sources of vibrations in gear units. The practical part deals with the design proposal of the attachment of the experimental single-stage gearbox and the load dynamometer to the anechoic chamber including the drawings. Further, by checking the modal properties of the proposed test stand, using the finite element method, the analytical and numerical control of the torsional vibrations of the rotating parts with respect to the expected frequency ranges of use.
Design of the Differential Test Rig for Testing in Anechoic Chamber
Ivanič, Michal ; Řehák, Kamil (referee) ; Prokop, Aleš (advisor)
The diploma thesis describes the design of a test stand for experimental determination of vibroacoustic parameters of a part of the powertrain system. Thesis contains a research part, describing the problems of the drive system, vibroacoustics, measuring devices and also the division and the description of test stands. At the same time, the reasons for choosing a closed loop test stand are explained. Thesis also includes the results of analytical calculations and numerical results of FEM methods performed using ANSYS software, as well as drawing documentation of individual parts.
Development of turbochargers
Zogata, Filip ; Prokop, Aleš (referee) ; Řehák, Kamil (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the development cycle of a turbocharger. When we are developing complex components, which completely include the turbocharger, it is necessary to use a number of technical experiments, both testing on a physical model and using computer programs. The aim of this work is to create a basic overview of the requirements for the development of turbochargers, then to approach the use of numerical simulations and testing at gas stations. This work also mentions current trends in this industry based on published studies from recent years. In the final part, the calculation of the modal analysis of the turbocharger is performed using two approaches.
Design of gearbox for electric motorcycle
Novotný, Tomáš ; Prokop, Aleš (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is a summarization of current state of knowledge of motorcycle clutches and transmissions and subsequent design of clutch and transmission for electric powered motorcycle. The main topic is design of the clutch of which components were processed by stress analysis and designed for fatigue safety. On top of that, the thesis deals with the design of primary transmission and gear ratios.
