It contains some analyses of the various parts of the injection molds, a description of their functions and the possibility of structural design. A summary of existing technologies for the production of these molds, their advantages and disadvantages is included. This thesis deals with design of the component parts for injection of plastics, strategy of machining and a simulation of machining.
Sinumerik tools for programming of CNC machine tool
Chytil, Tomáš ; Sámelová, Vendula (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
The bachelor thesis focuses on the usage of possible ways of the Sinumerik system for programming of the form of the drop forging. The first part of the thesis contains of the characteristics of the part and its function in the composition. In the second part there is all the proper visual documentation. The following parts of this piece of work is devoted to the history and specification of the Sinumerik control system and a suggestion on how to make a forging die.The next part is contributed to the possible ways of how to produce a form in the Sinumerik system. The final part deals with the very formation of the programme and its graphic simulation.
Battery pack for an electric car
List, Jaroslav ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
Thesis deals with the design of a battery box with lithium-ion technology, for the largest possible driving range of the BUT SuperEL II electric car. Based on the analysis of the electric vehicle available space and the parameters of the electronic system, the maximum size of the entire set of 84s130p batteries was designed. 18650 cells with NMC technology were selected due to the very high gravimetric and volumetric density, which reaches 274 Wh/kg and 564 kWh/m3. The total nominal capacity of the designed battery boxes in the electric car is 138 kWh. The total gravimetric energy density of the designed box is 215.6 Wh/kg. It allows the electric car to reach the theoretical range with a consumption of 14 kWh/100 km of almost 1000 km. The individual battery modules of the battery box are controlled for optimal operating conditions by means of a BMS. The whole set is divided into 5 battery boxes. These boxes are manufactured using the technology of bent welded sheets from aluminum alloy EN AW 1050A and steel 1.4301. FEM analyzes were performed to verify the mechanical strength of the designed structure. The work also deals with the design of battery modules and their connection.
Application CAD/CAM software PowerMILL 6.0 for 3D machining.
Vinkler, Tomáš ; Sedlák, Josef (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
The diploma thesis contains detailed processing of a two-piece car form by means of possible accessible 3D strategies of CAM system PowerMILL, selecting of tools, economical evaluation and creation of NC program for CNC machining centre.
SinuTrain Operate 2.6 tools for programming of CNC machine tools
Švagera, Pavel ; Sámelová, Vendula (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
The master´s thesis demonstrates the SinuTrain Operate 2.6 tools for programming of CNC machine tools. In the first part is done integrating the control system Sinumerik 840D to the most widely used control systems of CNC machine tools and described NC programming methods. The next part of the thesis involves the preparation of technical documentation machined component (front hub on a bicycle) and production design created by using ISCAR company tools. The final part of the thesis is dedicated to creating the NC program and verification of simulation.
Implementation of SolidCAM software in an engineering company
Olejníček, Petr ; Trčka, Tomáš (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
This Masters thesis examines the production of a revolver frame and the implementation of a new CAM system for the manufacturing process. This thesis contain four parts. The first part is focused on the current manufacturing process. The second part of the thesis consists of a new proposal to use progressive rotary tools and elements of automation for inspection by the Equator Gauging System. The third part proposes a new manufacturing strategy for the revolver frame. At the end of the thesis, the production times of proposed and current technologies are compared.
Vernet Behringer tools for CNC programming
Mana, Marek ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
The master’s thesis is focused on the possibilities of machining lines of the company Vernet – Behringer. The theoretical part is a brief inclusion of the control system ProNC2 between selected commercially available control systems and are compared ways of programming CNC machine tools. On the machine tool of company Vernet – Behringer are processed mainly thin-walled components, that is why is part of the work focuses on the issue of machining thin-walled parts, the distribution of deflection tools and machined parts. The next part of thesis deals with the design and processing of technical documentation for the machined model part. The practical part deals with the possibilities of the machine and method of programming the control system ProNC2. Programming and practical production on machine were proceeded in company SSI Schäfer s.r.o. The work is focused on practical verification of the production process using simulation and production itself. Finally, it was performed technical - economic evaluation of production.
Analysis of NC programming options for enclosed pockets
Janda, Jiří ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
The aim of this paper is to provide an overview of the available strategies for milling of closed pockets. In particular, it focuses on advanced programming using CAM programs. In the next parts, the work is focused on the analysis of the force load of tools in the machining of the pockets. Here it focuses on the course of forces in milling at the corner of the pocket using different methods of analyzing this load. There are also ways to reduce this burden.
