The base of the bachler's thesis is micro-urbanism where we are designing a new Brno townhall. This building should be located nowadays in poorly used spaces next to the tram stop Soukenická. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to design polyfunctional building where can fit the areas of townhall, offices, restaurant and housing. In the space between Malá Amerika and our building should be designed park.

Quantum graphs with circulant vertex couplings

Motivated by recent investigation of several particular situations, we study various quantum graphs equipped with circulant vertex couplings and characterize their spectral properties. The case of a star graph is analyzed in full generality, and the same applies to the condition determining the spectrum of periodic rectangular lattices. Special attention is paid to permutation-invariant vertex conditions on a rectangular lattice, as well as to a coupling interpolating between the δ and 'rotational' coupling on a quantum chain, with the focus on low- and high-energy bands and the discrete spectrum. We describe not only their dependence on the topology and the vertex condition, but also provide detail of their behaviour with respect to the parameters involved. 1

This master thesis is devoted to the issue of healthy living in the Brno urban gap. Due to the trend of urbanization and densification of housing, it is increasingly difficult to find a suitable environment for healthy living. Therefore, the thesis tries to find a solution how we can design a house, its layout and interior furnishings for healthy living even in these difficult conditions. During the previous semester of the pre-dissertation, I have interviewed experts and based on these interviews, I propose appropriate layouts and interior features. These elements were designed to promote the health and well-being of the occupants. These elements include such things as the placement and characteristic of lights or lighting, materials or interior elements that promote healthy human development. One of the main objectives of the work is to show that even in areas with limited space, natural light,natural greenery it is possible to create healthy living. The thesis also tries to answer questions about the impact of modern technologies and new trends such as home office, or other options for working and studying from home, and to show how we can minimize this impact through appropriate design of the apartment building. Overall, this thesis addresses current issues such as diseases of affluence, major lifestyle changes caused by the development of modern technology that our dwellings have not been able to adapt to. It shows how it is possible to design healthy housing even in spaces where it may be initially difficult and how such a solution can help to minimize the impact of modern times on the health of the inhabitants.

RNDr. František Němec, Ph.D., Department of surface and plasma science Abstract: Transmitters operating in the very low frequency range, used in military for their characteristic features, are powerful and localised sources of electromagnetic waves at known distinct frequencies. These waves can affect the ionosphere surrounding their passing as well as the dynamics of energetic particles trapped in the Van Allen radiation belts. A systematic analysis of data acquired by the low altitude satellite DEMETER in the vicinity of the transmitters and their magnetically conjugate regions during six years of its operation allows for the recognition and description of these potential influences. This work is focused primarily on changes of ionospheric plasma density and temperature and energetic particle precipitation due to wave-particle interactions. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to carry out an evaluation of financial health of company BigBoard Praha, a. s. which is based on publicly available data from the years of 2013-2015. First part of the thesis describes used methodology, which includes horizontal and vertical analysis, ratio analysis and financial market analysis. Second part is dedicated to presentation of analysed company and elaboration of financial analysis itself. The thesis concludes with a summary of ascertained results and a formulation of recommendations with respect to the future development of the company.

Financial analysis and financial plan od Alibona a.s.

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to perform a financial analysis of Alibona for the period 2011-2015. Another purpose is to compare this company with other companies in the same industry and to do a short term financial plan. The core business is to make canned fruit and vegetable. The first part of this bachelor thesis describes methodology, defines methods that are used in the analytical part. The second part is the analytical part. It consists of horizontal and vertical analysis, calculation of ratio indicators and comparison with competitors in the same industry and testing the financial health with bankruptcy and creditworthy models. In the end the short term financial plan is made for year 2016. The short term financial plan consists of planned balance sheet and planned profit and loss statement.

Financial Analysis Of Elektroline a. s.

The aim of this thesis is to make a thorough financial analysis of a company Elektroline a. s. which is seated in the Czech Republic and owned by foreign capital. Its main business is the overhead traction. First part of the thesis is dedicated to description of company s main business and also to pinpointing of fundamental problems connected to the industry. Furthermore, it describes Elektroline s main competitor, Elektrizace železnic Praha a. s. Second part of the thesis enlightens methodology and performs actual financial analysis of the company using horizontal and vertical analysis of accounting statements and financial ratios. Analytical part is wrapped up by comparison of key financial ratios of Elektroline and Elektrizace železnic in a spider graph analysis and a bankruptcy, credibility model. Third and final part involves short-term financial plan based on information obtained by the financial analysis. Financial plan involves profit and loss statement, key macroeconomic indicators forecast and expectedimpact on Elektroline a. s.

Financial analysis and the forecast of future development of VILÉM spol. s r.o.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to perform financial analysis of company VILÉM, spol. s r. o. for the period 2011 to 2015 and the subsequent forecast of future development of the company for the year of 2016. The thesis is divided into 3 linked parts. First part contains methodology of financial analysis used in this thesis. Here are defined procedures, important terms and formulas. Second part consists of analysis itself, spatial comparison with competitors and with bakery sector itself. Next comes the forecast of future development of VILÉM, spol. s r. o. in year 2016. As a part of this prognosis the SWOT analysis is carried out, followed by planned balance sheet, planned income statement and planned cash flow. This supplement financial analysis for the year 2016. The last part contains the conclusion, where the results are summarized, the questions are answered and the fulfilment of main goal and other partially goals are assessed.

Business Valuation of Company CZC.cz, s. r. o.

The aim of this thesis is to estimate the market value of the company CZC.cz, s.r.o. as of 31. 12. 2014. The thesis is divided into six parts. Introductory chapters describe the valuation process and basic information about the company. Following the strategic and financial analysis of the company, that answer the question of whether the company meets the going concern assumption. Based on the analysis of the company is selected discounted cash flow method to the owners using the parametric formula. Method of sectoral multipliers and appreciation of the historical cost are selected as a control method of valuation. The conclusion summarizes the results of the thesis and defines the market value of the company CZC.cz, s. r. o..
