The Effect of Hardening on the Human Body

The diploma thesis deals with the topic of hardening and its effect on the human organism. The goal is to fing out what and whether hardening has any effect on the human organism. The theoretical part describes the history of hardening, its various forms and the principles that we should follow during hardening if we want to experience its positive effect and avoid potential danger. It also includes the hardening of children which has its own specifics. Furthermore, the concept of thermoregulation and other concepts related to physiological processes that také place in the human body not only during and after staying in cold water are explained in the theoretical part. In the practical part, three groups of probands are compered with the help of a questionnaire: 100 sports hardeners, 90 hardeners and 95 non-hardeners. With the help of a quesionnaire, it is determined what and whether hardening has an effect on the human organism. After comparing all three groups, the results show that for the majority of respondents, hardening has a positive effect on both the physical and psychological aspects of a person. Engaging pre-school children in research: design and evaluation of participatory methods

The modern world is focused on children. We care much more about the right regime of our children, about hygiene and other aspects of their daily routine. So it is not surprising that many scientists start their recent projects on or with children. Anthropology is not an exception. This study creates a smaller part of a larger sleep research study which aims to investigate whether two community based social marketing campaigns influence parents' view of pre-school children sleep requirements and healthy sleep practices. This work targets directly pre-school children and wants to determine if we are able to educate children about healthy and right sleeping habits through specifically performed game based activities. The main aim of this study is to find out which games are useful for enhancing the results of the supreme Medical Anthropology research. Secondary aim is to solve what we can generally do for a better engagement of children in our research.

Development of kinetic habits and skills within Prague schools children

The aim of my thesis was to create motor tests and to chose individuals, who did these tests, according to different criteria. My thesis consists of a theoretical part and practical part. In the theoretical part, I have summarised the issues of physical activity and other related topics. In the practical part I have used a testing method. After carrying out the tests with selected individuals I analysed the results. I compared them with specialized literature (see Měkota) and evaluated them, whether they correspond or not with the correct motor development of children in various motor skills ( strength, speed, endurance, dexterity and agility). Growth, Development, and Selected Demographic Data of Macaca mullata Living in Captivity

Diplomová práce se zabývá generačními rozdíly v růstu hmotnosti, výšky a výšky v sedě u makaků rhesusů (Macaca mulatta) chovaných v zajetí z primatologického centra v Konárovicích v České republice a z primatologického centra v Soči v Rusku. Dále se zaměřuje také na sezónnost měsíců narození a pohlavní poměr narozených jedinců v jednotlivých generacích. Teoretická část obsahuje základní informace o makaku rhesusovi a o historii primatologických studií.. V praktické části jsou zpracována longitudinální a demografická data podle jednotlivých generací. Poslední část je didaktická, která představuje makaka rhesuse, jako modelový druh úzkonosého primáta, a dále podává základní informace o primátech vhodné pro výuku na ZŠ a SŠ. Specific developmental disorders in learning and syndrome ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) and ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) - The pilot's analysis of modifications within school attendance My dissertation is devoted to accessible pieces of knowledge from neuro-science, pedagogy and psychology appointed at specific disorders in learning and syndrome ADHD/ADD. I described characteristic, etiology, expressions, reeducation and diagnostic of specific developmental disorders in learning and syndrome ADHD/ADD. I looked up pupils (in 1st and 2nd forms) with possible assumption of any specific developmental disorders in learning by standardized tests. I have focused on an importance of capture their beginning problems. I founded current existence of specific disorders in learning among pupils on second stage of primary school. I have carried out my research work in primary school (1024 Laudova Street, Prague 17 - Řepy). I captured data from my research work that had been statistically processed. The school staff allowed me to get information about specific disorders in learning presence among 2nd form classes' students. Healthy lifestyle of a college student

Within the diploma thesis the following features have been implemented - summarized data about health and healthy lifestyle specialized age bracked collage students. There are also listed correct catering habits, healthy nutrition, drinkable mode, sleep and moving activity. Further there are summarized determinants the most damage health, like a smoke, excessive alcohol consumption, drug abusing, excessive mental load and risk sexual behavior. In the practical part of the thesis there is investigation of questionnaire located healthy lifestyle level of collage students on different universities in Prague. For evaluation my investigation of questionnaire I evolved my own method with own graduated scale for healthy lifestyle. The reason to develop my own method was that I did not find any sufficient scale or method in any publication focused on lifestyle that would globally cover all topics of my questionnaire. Results are illustrated in graphs and confronted among each other at first in particular areas healthy lifestyle and then globally evaluated according to norm of healthy lifestyle. Attachments of this thesis is questionary exploited during investigation of questionnaire on four universities in Prague.

Central nervous system - specific developmental disorders in learning, anatomic coordination and hyperactivity in primary school

This presentation deals with and partially summeries available data, which are relevant to characteristic, causes and diagnostics, but also correcting each of specific growing disorders in learning and syndrom ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) and ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder). My aim of this bachelor thesis presentation is to pursue realization of current knowledge regarding this matter. The intention of my study was to discover specific growing disorders in learning and the ADHD syndrome on the first level in Laudova Elementary School, Repy. My hypotheses are based on studies of well-known specialist, in which it says that with children, both dyslexy and the ADHD syndrome occurs more with boys than girls. 1 completed this experiment in Laudova School. I received concrete evidence about the number of specific growing disorders in learning and of the ADHD syndrome, from each class. From my experiment at Laudova School, follows that most pupils are diagnosed with dysorthography. The dyslexy is the second place at this school with more boys affected. This confirms the hypothesis that the ADHD syndrome occurs more in boys than girls. This experiment proves that the studied expert theory is correct. This thesis aims to describe the selected nutritional trends with respect not only the physiological needs of man. Nutrition today is a very important aspect of our lives, and it is necessary to know the real nutrition for possibility of using alternative nutritional aspects. In particular, these findings were taken into account in the further processing of the thesis. Selected criteria contributed to the description of the selected lines of the analysis and also defined the factors influencing the selection of nutritional direction. In the practical part were compared selected dietary trends and the conclusions of these analyzes were summarized and can assist individuals in choosing the appropriate nutritional direction. Waste management of city Volyně

Předmětem této diplomové práce je odpadové hospodářství města Volyně, jeho analýza a následné zefektivnění. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části se zabýváveme obecnými předpoklady odpadového hospodářství obce, tzn. obecnou charakteristikou komunálních odpadů, dopadem nakládání s komunálními odpady na životní prostředí, dále také legislativou spojenou s komunálními odpady a nakonec technicko-organizačními východisky. V části vlastní šetření pak, podle obecných předpokladů, usuzujeme na stav odpadového hospodářství ve městě Volyně. Na základě této analýzy navrhujeme opatření na zlepšení systému nakládání s komunálním odpadem ve městě Volyně. Práce slouží jako návod pro zastupitelstvo města Volyně na zlepšení hospodaření s komunálním odpadem. Jako příloha této práce slouží mapa města s rozmístěním jednotlivých kontejnerů, vyhláška 1/02, evidenční list, provozní řád sběrného dvora Volyně, seznam černých skládek, seznam sběrných nádob rozmístěných po Volyni a obrázky jednotlivých popisovaných sběrných nádob.
