Visual Representations of the Mother in Pre-School Children's Art

This work is focusing on the issue of the portrayal of the mother in artistic statement of preschool children with a consideration on potential reflections of the changes in the conception of the role of the mother in the public. The theoretical part is focusing on present state of discoveries about the mother and motherhood from the viewpoints of the sociology and gender studies. It also deals with the viewing of the mother with the children in the visual arts from the first half of the twentieth century. The analysis part brings findings about the viewing of the mother with the children in the present visual arts and further description and the evaluation of the present practice of the lead of the art activities in the kindergartens. In the last phase of the research is a pedagogical experiment, which at the same time makes up the core of the didactic work. Together with other research findings it also is a starting point for proposal of new approaches to the theme "Mother", focusing on overcoming present thematic stereotypes in art activities that is lead by teachers in kindergartens. The concluding work makes up the summary of all research findings, which are encouraging to didactic evaluations.
Music Activities and Development of Graphomotory

The topic of the diploma thesis is the use of musical activities in the development of graphomotoric skills of preschool children. The theoretical section is focused on harmonising of music and movement on the level of gross and fine motoric skills. This diploma thesis analyses the musical aspect of the Czech version of the Good Start Method. The practical section presents new lessons developing graphomotoric skills with a central focus on musical and instrumental activities. The thesis provides a report on the aims, methods and progress of the field research in the preparatory classes of primary school. Part of the process is basic research into the received tempo of two songs from the Good Start Method. Risk margin in technical reserves calculations

This thesis focuses on the comparison of the non-life insurance risk margin calculation methods. At first, the current situation on the European insurance market is described as well as possible approaches of the risk margin calculations. Next the paper deals with the cost of capital method and Value at Risk simulation approach. Apart from theoretical description of the methods there are also practical calculations based on data, which correspond to the character of some insurance lines on the Czech market, mentioned in this paper. In the final part comparison of both methods' results is described and, in addition to that, the results of the Tail Value at Risk method are also mentioned. A computational tool for the risk margins is also included in the thesis.

At first, the changes in calculation of a benelit in a temporary disablement, which affect the employees, are considered. Then we deal with the calcula- tion of a wa^e refund which an employer will pay out instead oi' the benefit for a specific part of the temporary disablement. In the next part we work with statistical data of a temporary disablement which allow us to define expected costs of the refunds of wa^es and also (he amount of the fund which is needed to cover these costs. In I he second part ol 1 he work the possibililv to transfer the risk linked with refund of wagrs to the insurance copany is considered.
