Application of job analysing in social work with a specific attention given to the head officer of OSPOD

The bachelor thesis "Application of job analysing in social work with a specific attention given to the head officer of OSPOD" deals with the execution of social-legal protection of children in the Czech Republic. It focuses at the characteristics of the work of head officer managing social workers visiting the families. The main investigated domain is the activity of OSPOD during the process of departure of the child from the family and during their return back, meaning the proposals referring to precaution, institutional upbringing and its cancellation. Further on the thesis includes activities of the superior institutions following the aspect of the head officer's work. Next comes the theoretical part devoted to the job analysis. The elaboration of the pilot version of the job analysis of the OSPOD head officer looks at the topic of the thesis from the practical perspective. It brings the unique complex view at the profession of social worker and leads to the provision of concrete ways how job analysis could be used in the field of social work.

Autobiographical fragments from Late 1 9th and Early 20th Century, characterized and analyzed in this PhD thesis, demonstrate different approaches to the crisis of the subject and the language in Modernism, and how they are reflected in the gerne of the Autobiography. Experimental texts written by A. Stifter, Klabund, C. Morgenstern, H. Mann, H. Hesse, A. Döblin, G. Kaiser, H. H. Jahnn, K. Tucholsky, 1. Wassermann, C. Zuckmayer, C. Sternheim and K. Valentin are characterized by the communicative openness, irony and wit; the boarder stmcture, liminal existence and crossing of factual, textual and language boarders; self-performance and the discussion of the relation between the text and the presented "reality". They document the most important changes in the concepts of the Modernism.
The influence of supervision and job evaluation on motivation of social services workers

The thesis concentrates on influence of work evaluation and supervision on motivation of workers of low threshold clubs for children and youth. Supervision and work evaluation is perceived as an obligation for providers of social services defined in quality standards of social services. The thesis concetrates on effects of supervision and work evaluation on the motivation of workers. The opening of the thesis describes roles in the process of motivation (roles of workers and the roles of their supervisors and senior executives), along with two fundamental theories of motivation (developed by Maslow and Herzberg). In the same chapter, the risks connected with work motivation (helpers' syndrome and burn-out syndrome) within helping professions are tackled. The thesis further introduces measures, which influence motivation of workers, employees of social services, namely financial recognition and education. Attention is also paid to non-financial means of motivating employees. Two selected measures of non-financial motivation, supervision and work evaluation, are described in greater detail, specifically in terms of their foundation, function, form, procedures, purpose and impact.
