The benefits and limitations of Cloud Computing

This paper analyses the issues of Cloud Computing. Cloud Computing is concept of providing software and hardware services. This concept is currently becoming very popular. The aim of this paper is to define and specify the term Cloud computing itself. Another aim is to characterize and describe the basic properties of the whole concept of Cloud Computing and to put this concept into broader relations and context, especially in relation to the ASP (application service provider). Furthemore, from these facts to define the benefits and limitations of concept, which Cloud computing primarily offers to companies. To achieve these aims is used special literature and specifically focused websites on the issue of Cloud Computing. The contribution of this paper is a survey of the characteristics, benefits and limitations of the concept and also its application in enterprises.
Actual state of using the Cloud Computing services in Czech companies

Bachelor thesis describes a method of delivery of information technology as a service via the Internet. This model is currently called the Cloud Computing. It is a relatively new trend in the IT branch and people currently often talk about it. The goal is to find out how much it's currently occurring in Czech companies, to come on its causes and to predict future developments. The theoretical part is based on summarizing knowledge of cloud computing from the available literature. Describes the definition of Cloud Computingu, its historical development, through the present, to estimate the future prognosis. Also the thesis shows the possible types of cloud computing, its advantages and disadvantages. Finally, it mentions possible obstacles before implementing Cloud Computing services to company. The practical part describes used research method to achieve the objectives. It consists in the profit of a sufficient number of relevant information obtained by questionnaire survey. In the end is a summary of the information gained by analyzing and interpreting, which is the goal of this thesis.
Cloud Computing: Overview of available SaaS solutions

This bachelor thesis deals with an area of Cloud Computing, which is called Software as a Service, or SaaS in short. In summary, it is the application delivery model run over the Internet. The aim is the introduction of the concept of Cloud Computing with its characteristics, detailed explanation of the concept of SaaS, including key features, benefits and limitations and at the end of this thesis mapping and evaluation of ERP product offers provided as a service on the Czech market. The theoretical part is based on a literature research of expert books, articles and other electronic resources. The subsequent mapping of product offers lies in searching for infor-mation via the Internet. Evaluation of available properties based on the product and is based on the criteria established on the basis of expert studies and articles. The evaluation is based on available properties of products and on the criteria established on the basis of expert studies and articles. The main contribution of this work is, in my opinion, the mapping of current ERP product offers provided as a service on the Czech market and their evaluation based on selected criteria. The structure of this paper follows the main aims. The first part deals with theory and is always proceeded from general to specific. In the second part there is space defined for mapping offers on the Czech market, closer selection of products for evaluation, presenta-tion of evaluation methods and the final comparison.
Barriers to Cloud computing in Czech environment

Theme of this work is one of the most mentioned notions in present IT world called Cloud computing. Cloud computing is a model of using IT through services. This work has two parts. In first part of this work are summarized theoretically bases of Cloud computing based on available sources. The second part is based on questionnare survey which was done across companies operating on Czech market. This survey was done especially for this work. The goal of first part is to provide theoretical base associated with the concept of cloud computing. The second part focuses on evaluation of the rate of adoption SaaS services in companies operating on the Czech market. At the same time aim of the second part is iden-tify barriers that prevent futher expansion of these services and their impact on penetration.
Cloud Computing: Overwiew of CRM solutions avalaible in Czech Republic

The first goal of this thesis is to expound the concept of CRM - Customer Relationship Management. In the thesis are discussed about different approaches to CRM. Customer relationship management should be seen as an enterprise-wide on customer oriented strategy. This term is often understood as a CRM system. To achieve this concept is currently using CRM tools that are part of the CRM system. Furthermore, the thesis described architecture and functionality of the CRM system. As information technology continues to evolve, in the thesis are also discussed trends in CRM systems. The biggest trend is software as a service based solutions (SaaS). The next section will focus on CRM systems based on SaaS. First, defines what Cloud Computing is. Is also discussed deployment models and taxonomy services. The main objective is to analyze the market for CRM services in the Czech Republic. In the thesis for easy navigation on the CRM services market is set up a complete overview of available solutions. Solutions are categorized into 3 categories according to company size. For each category are selected and compared the best products according to specified criteria. The three products from each category are described in details. In addition, by the questionnaire will be detected by the attitude of Czech companies to CRM and SaaS. The aim is to determine what proportion of businesses using CRM to support its processes, what systems are used, what is their opinion on the issue of data security solutions based on SaaS.

The paper Works describes concept of cloud computing, his main characteristics. Cloud computing is new trend in IT. The company doesn't have your own servers and data centres, but everything is situated in cloud -- in set of pc and server. The owners of these are suppliers of these services. The aim of the thesis is defined Cloud Computing concepts and evaluate by criterion if cloud computing application can compete to classic application. Introduction of the Works describe the gist of cloud computing, the models of cloud and history. The main part of the Works is about the suppliers. The last chapter is dedicated to evaluation of applications of cloud computing by comparison with other application.
Cloud Computing in Czech enviroment

Focus of this diploma thesis is on Cloud Computing -- a new delivery model of IS/ICT services for companies. Cloud Computing services are IT resources available to users via internet on pay-as-you-use basis. The aim of the thesis is define underlying Cloud Computing concepts and evaluate the current state of Cloud Computing adoption in the Czech Republic. We discuss the framework for definition of Cloud Computing concepts in the theoretical part of the thesis drawing on resources available in the literature. Cloud Computing survey is conducted using an online questionnaire and followsthe principles established in theoretical part. The main contribution of this thesis is creating working definition of Cloud Computing and identifying reasons that affect adoption rate in the Czech Republic.
Ergonomics of User Interface for Business Intelligence application

This Bachelor thesis focuses on methodology and techniques for user interface design and development in a field of business intelligence systems. The main goal of this work is to create usable methodology and to identify key elements of whole development process. First part is theoretical study of factors that are determinant and important for user interface design, such as definition of the business intelligence applications, user interface and user characteristics. The original work concentrates on describing an actual methodology for user interface development, techniques for usability testing and criteria for interface evaluation. All these information are applied on business intelligence user interface.
