This paper introduces the reader into utilization of web application frameworks in web development. It describes Content Management Systems and demands on them. The goal of the thesis is to implement a new Content Management System using a Ruby on Rails framework. The system is required to faciliate a simple publication of documents in various forms. It should also provide multilingual environment and support custom interface templates.

The main goal of this project was to design a website for a company which business is arranging parties. The work discusses the layout of all parts of a multilingual information system using templates which makes possible easy changes in the future. The program part of this work is written in scripting language, presentation interface is made with template system. The output of this project was the information system, now used by real organisation.

System for Analysis of Player Behaviour

Bachelor's thesis is focused on the analysis of players' behavior and ranking their gaming performance. This analysis is based on the replays which are uploaded by the users. The thesis describes in detail rules for rating the replays and analysing the players' behavior. There were used ASP.NET, javascript technologies and database MS SQL Server for programming. Internet presentation is followed by information system which enables simple management of presentation's content and user's accounts management. During design implementation attention was paid to differences among internet explorers. The thesis includes detailed analysis and projecting that meet general standards of object oriented programming.

Complex System for Web Page Creating and Editing

This thesis describes a system which offers customer registration and user administration-related tasks. It also facilitates an apparatus for supervising service fees. Above all, it provides users with tools with which they can create their own web site with ease and also change its content and appearance. This is achieved by using templates and modules. The Document also analyses specifications for this type of application, describes phases of design and implementation and draws out possible continuation of this project.

This bachelor work is concentrated on building an electronic shop with the use of Macromedia Flash technology. The aim was to build a system according to the purchasers request of the electronic shop. First this work explains the term of electronic shop and then the medium used in the develop. Then it is followed by the description of particular requests of the system and their analysis. The work continues describing the technologies used in building the system. The final part is concentrated on implementation of the system as a web application with the use of Flash, XML, and ColdFusion.

The subject matter of this work is requirements specification, analysis, concept and implementation of dance club information system. This system has to enable the keeper of the club to correctly organize dance courses and other related actions. It is equipped with editorial system for user-friendly modification of the web presentation. System is platform independent and technologies used are as follows - HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL and Apache.

Scrabble for Mobil Phones

This paper deals with an usage of searching algorithms and lexical data structures for platforms with limited computing power and accessible memory (celluar phones and similar) in SCRABBLE brand crossword game. There are also shown its advantages and disadvantages on this platform. The Appel-Jacobson searching algorithm is used to search possible moves. The lexicon with all words is available for this algorithm. It's stored in Directed Acyclic Word Graph (DAWG), which provides fast data searching and data compression too, so the size of the lexicon is comparatively small considering the target platform. The final Java application for celluar phones (MIDP 2.0) adds graphical interface and game control so it provides playing SCRABBLE brand crossword game against artificial intelligence or against human.
