Reconstruction of the former industry building for flats
Kratochvílová, Martina ; Pěkník, Robin (referee) ; Klusáček, Ladislav (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis concerns with an analysis of existing ceiling concrete slab and design of locally supported monolithic reinforced concrete slab of fourth floor of Essler's textil factory in Brno and design of a typical column of the same floor. Design of ceiling concrete slab was accomplished in software SCIA Engineer, which uses finite element method and was verified by manual calculation using the method of cumulative moments. Column design was made by hand calculation. Design was made in accordance with applicable standards. The result is a reinforced slab and reinforced column.

Footbridge across the deep valley
Kratochvílová, Martina ; Glovina, Filip (referee) ; Nečas, Radim (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is the design and analysis of pedestrian bridge across the deep valley. There were designed three variants. The variant of structure, which combines stress ribbon with concrete arch, was chosen for the analysis. The optimal geometry was found using iteration methods with VBA Excel. The calculation model was made in software Ansys 19.0, considering phases of construction. The Ultimate limit state and the service limit state were evaluated as well as dynamic behavior of construction – modal analysis (eigenfrequencies and eigenshapes) and response to harmonic excitation. The design and assessment are according to the European standards.
Eating habits of shiftworkers
KRATOCHVÍLOVÁ, Martina
The bachelor thesis contains a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part describes basic diet components, a large part is dedicated to circadian rhythm and its influence on our health. Health risks connected to shiftwork are also mentioned. Further, a hormone known as melatonin that plays a significant role in our sleep, is described. The objective of this bachelor thesis was to map out eating habits of people whose work is run in shifts. The survey was processed using a qualitative method. Data was collected using semi-structured interviews with questions prepared beforehand and a record of weekly diet plans. Interviews were carried out with 10 individuals of medical staff whose work run in 12 full-hour shifts. The results prove that individuals working in shifts include meat and dairy products most often as the source of protein. Protein intake is higher during day shift. Intake of carbohydrates most often comes from bread and side dishes that are a part of meals. Intake of legumes is seldom included in the respondents´ diets. During night shift, smaller portions are consumed and intake of liquids is higher during day shift. Out of the informants´ diet plans we found out that intake of fiber is low. Snacks usually consist of fruit, dairy products or bread and something. The survey has proven that lunch offer is taken advantage of by an insignificant number of informants, dinner is taken advantage of in a minimum of cases. We have also found out that most informants consume food up to midnight during night shifts and until the end of their shift they consume only liquids. Energetic drinks are not an important part of drinking regime in shiftwork. Coffee intake is higher during day shift. The results of this bachelor thesis may serve both, the lay and expert public. Creating an informative leaflet with ditary habit recommendations is a part of this thesis.
Approximation of Evacuation Curve by the Polynomic Regression Method
Uhlík, Ondřej ; Dobiášová, Lucie ; Kratochvílová, Martina
Prediction of the evacuation process at the time of the emergency is crucial for the subsequent effective coordination of the evacuation and the intervention of the rescue units. Microscopic simulation tools are currently the most advanced method of evacuation modelling, however, their use in the operational phase of construction is inefficient due to the computational time of the simulations and dynamic input data. One of the outputs of the simulations is the evacuation curve. The paper proposes a simplification of the curve by the approximation method of polynomial regression, which demonstrates on basic evacuation scenario. The polynomial coefficients can be used to compile a training set of a machine learning model to predict real-time evacuation curves.
Byelorussian Democratic Republic
Kratochvílová, Martina ; Zilynskyj, Bohdan (advisor) ; Švec, Luboš (referee)
The dissertation called "Belarusan Democratic Republic" (BDR) analyzes in broad terms progression of belarus national movement since beginning of 20th century until the end of the year 1918. In the strict sense of the word the aim of that thesis is to evaluate to what degree is possible to consider BDR as real republic at the date of its formation and to what degree could be operationable its government authorities. What criteria had confirmed or had contradicted the existence of BDR as a real state. BDR had been a certain culmination of belarus national movement. In the beginning of the dissertation we will take attention to origins of national movement, its developing in the frame of the tzar's Russia and during the first world war. Comparation of possibilities of national agitation at the time of separation of belarusan districts between two warenemies is also included in the first part. Following part, which we focus on, is explaining what conditions have been for proclamation of independence, what motivations and requests of belarusan patriots have been. There had been founded the state authorities of BDR by proclamation of independence: pre-parliament - Council of BDR and "government" - National Secretariat. Analyzing of volume of authenticity to state authorities had been realized according...
