PLC systems in education process
Král, Radek ; Ctibor, Jiří (referee) ; Červinka, Dalibor (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with programmable logic controllers for teaching. The thesis is divided into six chapters. The first chapter describes the basic programming languages as well as their resolution with graphical preview. The second chapter deals with programming environment GX Works2 from Mitsubishi Electric. Chapters three and four describe the SoMachine programming environment from Schneider Electric and Automation Studio from B&R. The fifth chapter of this bachelor thesis compares individual programming environments from the perspective of a common user. Nine laboratory tasks are proposed in the final part. For each lab task, a lab tutorial is created, and for most, an example of a logical program and visualizations.
High-speed outer rotor synchronous machine
Král, Radek ; Knebl, Ladislav (referee) ; Klíma, Petr (advisor)
The master thesis deals with the construction and design of a high-speed synchronous machine with an outer rotor. The thesis is organised into three main chapters. The first chapter deals with machine design theory as well as mechanical limits, which are significant for high speed machines. This chapter also provides examples of applications of these electrical machines. In the second chapter, the initial design of the machine is calculated analytically. This machine design is optimised and the third chapter of this work shows the results of simulations using the finite elements method, including the evaluation of these results.
Multi-channel power distribution unit
Sloboda, Alexander ; Král, Radek (referee) ; Jandová, Kristýna (advisor)
This semestral thesis focuses on electrical design of a power supply controlle, able to independently controll multiple power outputs. Described are main components, process of choosing components and systematic view of inner connection of this device. Thesis contains theoretical introduction into power supplies such as AC/DC converters with focu on switch-mode converters and DC/DC converters. Brief overview of semiconductor components is included.

The Reterritorialization of Austrian-Slovenian-Croatian borderlands as a causal impact of the European integration process
Král, Radek ; Žíla, Ondřej (advisor) ; Šmidrkal, Václav (referee)
The submitted thesis "Reteritorialization of the Austrian-Slovenian-Croatian border as a causal impact of the European integration process" analytically approaches the issue of the reterritorialization process within the state-centric, still valid Westphalian system. The topic of reterritorialization is important especially in the context of considering the spatial or territorial impacts of ongoing European integration. This integration can take the form of establishing so called Euroregions or cross-border cooperation. The territorial framework was chosen on the basis that Slovenia is one of the most typical border and contact social areas in Europe. This assumption was subsequently linked to the time perspective, when the above-mentioned three states joined the European Union at almost the same interval. Appropriate choice of territory and time framework in the work is the basis for the analysis of the impacts of the phenomenon of reterritorialization. The analytical part of the work is organized as a discursive analysis of texts whose authors are researchers from the university environment. As members of academia often have a direct impact on the local implementation of cohesion policy, the analysis is complemented with the interpretation of the results of thematic structured interviews. These...

The Cultural Policy of the Netherlands in the United States of America after 1994
Král, Radek ; Tomalová, Eliška (advisor) ; Matějka, Ondřej (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the development of the Dutch international cultural policy in between Wim Kok's, Jan Peter Balkenende's and Mark Rutte's governments. Through the compiling and descriptive approach there is dealt with milestones and key interventions in the international cultural policy structure in the thesis. The pivotal part of the thesis is dedicated to the application of the above mentioned policy model in the United States of America. Metodologically, the thesis' core part consists of three case studies which provide text with an empirical dimension. Apart from the descriptive frame depiction of the Dutch cultural- diplomatic model, there is also paid attention to the Dutch internal political discourse in thesis in the given period of time. The thesis' content may be perceived as a complement to texts which put down the national interests' accomplishments through the culture to research, as a means of desired target of the collective perception from the host country, i. e. where is the cultural dimension of the foreign policy applied. Key words The Netherlands, USA, international cultural policy, government, discourse, approaches
