Relationship of second grade pupils to sport

Title: Relationship of second grade pupils to sport Objectives: The main goal of this thesis is to describe a relationship of lower- secondary pupils to sport. Partial goal was to reveal whether students do sport regularly, who made them start sport and whether sport activities or education of parents have an influence on their relationship to sport. Furthermore, a student 's lifestyle is evaluated, namely how they spend their leisure time. This work is also focused on the impact of gender and place of residence on doing sport. Method: A relationship of lower-secondary pupils to sport was examined via questionnaire, which was created specially for this research. Results: The outcome is that 97 % of pupils consider sport very important from the point of view of health, overall majority thinks it is important from the point of view of economics. No impact of gender was shown. The good news is that 84 % of respondents consider sport as part of their lifestyle and 88 % of respondents do sport regularly or irregularly. The results show that with the increasing level of education of parents, the positive attitude towards sports in children also grows. The Effect of Size of Residence on Adult's Attitude towards Physical Activity and Sport

Title: The effect of size of residence on adult's attitude towards physical activity and sport Objectives: The main aim for this thesis is to find out whether the size of the residence effects the attitude of adult population towards physical activities and sport. Methods: 957 of men and women from each region of Czech Republic aged 15-91 (mean age 41) filled a questionnaire SFSPA (Social function of sports and physical activities). Collected data were evaluated in a relationship with size of a residence of the respondents in these categories: less than 500, 501-2000, 2001- 5000, 5001-20000, 20001-50000, 50001-100000, 100000 and more inhabitants. Results: The results don't show any clear trend that could prove the fact that the bigger the size of the residence, the more positive or negative relationship there is of its inhabitants towards physical activity (PA). There is a constant difference though between the smallest size of the residence (small villages; less than 500 inhabitants) and the biggest size of the residence (big cities; 100000 and more inhabitants), where data from questions related to PA relationships are always more positive from probands of big cities then from small villages. Circumstances affecting the termination of teenager sports training

This bachelor's thesis mainly deals with the circumstances and reasons causing the termination of pre-adolescent sports training. In the theoretical part of the thesis, several topics are mentioned and explained, which are closely related to the given issue. Specifically, the theoretical part discusses youth and their age periods, general sports training, pre-adolescent sports training, motivation, free time and ending sports training. The practical part of the work is based on quantitative research, specifically on anonymous questionnaire survey, in which a total of 103 former athletes between the ages of 18-25, who finished their sports training between the ages of 13-18, were involved. To reach the answers i choosed the so-called snowball technique. The questionnaire survey reveals the answers to the questions whether parents play any role in the termination of sports training, whether early specialization is related to termination, or whether the social capital of the family is related to the peristence of pre-adolescent in sports. Title of the thesis: Self-efficacy of UK FTVS students for teaching health physical education The aim of the thesis: The aim of the bachelor's thesis was to evaluate the level of self-efficacy or subjectively perceived competences and professional self-confidence of students in the final master's year of physical education at the UK FTVS in relation to the teaching of health physical education. The partial goal was to compare the results with previous research by Anna Šubertová (Šubertová, 2020). Methods: For the investigation with the character of mixed empirical research, a self-constructed questionnaire was used to collect data, which was created on the basis of revising Šubertová's (2020) previous research instrument. The research was carried out in May and June 2023, with the participation of 68 respondents of the final year of the follow-up master's studies in Applied Physical Education and Sport for People with Specific Needs and Physical Education Teaching for Secondary Schools at the UK FTVS. Title: The use of formative assessment in physical education in primary schools in Písek Objectives: The aim of this thesis was to determine the current state of the use of formative assessment in the teaching of physical education at the second level of primary schools in Písek. To focus on whether the elements of formative assessment are applied in teaching and whether they are used purposefully. To find out whether and how the students's personality is being developed during physical education lessons. Methods: To achieve the objectives, a non-participant observation method and a non- standardized questionnaire was used and piloted. The observation method was used to capture the process of physical education classes with regard to the use of formative assessment elements. Subsequently, a questionnaire was presented to the teachers of the lessons in question and their responses were compared with the results of the observation. Results: It was found that formative assessment (assessment for learning) occurs to a very limited extent in physical education classes in the form of sub- elements of the formative approach. Burnout syndrome in the teaching profession

Title: The Burnout Syndrome of Teachers Profession Objectives: The objectives of the thesis were to describe the rate of burnout of teachers at elementary schools, high schools, and gymnasiums. The aim of this work was also to compare burnout rate of different groups of teachers which are linked sociodemographic and professional characteristics and to describe teachers' opinions of the burnout syndrome. Methods: We used a questionnaire survey in the practical part of the thesis. 653 respondents participated. The questionnaire survey consisted of the MBI questionnaire and items created by the author of the thesis. The Survio internet platform was used for distribution. The snowball sampling, nonprobability sampling and sampling across institutions were employed to select respondents. The Excel and Statistica software were used to analyse the data. Results: We found a high degree of emotional exhaustion in 34 % of teachers, a high degree of depersonalization in 12 % of teachers and a low degree of personal accomplishment in 26 % of teachers. Thesis title: The Use of Smart Portable Electronics for Physical Activitiy and Prevention of Lifestyle Diseases in the Old Age The aim of the thesis: For this thesis there are defined two aims. The first one is to find out how and for chat the Czech elderly people use smart portable electronics. The second aimis to verify if the elderly people use the smart portable electronics for motoric activities, which can prevent from the development or spreading of life style diseases. Methods: To fulfil these aids there was used quantitive research with the method of a questionnaire. The questionnaire was prepared by myself and it was semi-structured. It was sent in e-mail or delivered personally to the centres for senior citizens. Results: The results gathered in contingency tables showed that most of the seniors use smart portable electronics. However, in a different level of usage. They devote to motoric activities, but they do not work with electronics for motivation. It is hard to clearly say if the previous job or education have any influence on the level of the use of smart portable electronics. The impact of Covid-19 pandemy on the sport motivation in para swimmers

Title: The impact of Covid-19 pandemy on the sport motivation in para swimmers Objectives: The aim of the study is to search for the existence of changes in the level of sport motivation in a group of para swimmers as a result of the pandemic crisis in the Czech Republic. Methods: The object of the research is to evaluate the data of a repeatedly submitted standardised Sport Motivation Scale questionnaire to a research cohort of 22 disabled para swimmers aged 19 to 48 years (as of 2021). Then a comparison of this assessment with the responses obtained through a structured interview conducted at the end of the research survey in August 2021 has been developed. Graphical processing and an appropriate form of t-test is used to investigate differences in motivation levels. Results: Although the statistical analysis of the data of the whole group did not show a significant difference between the two studied time periods, nor between men and women, a change in the level of intrinsic motivation to know was observed in the group of men studied separately. Furthermore, a correlation of intrinsic motivation to experience with age was found. When comparing these results with a set of descriptions of the respondent's subjective feelings, the answers to the scientific research questions are not entirely clear....

Title: Ambitions of parents and their sports children Objectives: The goal is to find out what influeces lead the youg population to sports. We want explore how much influence parents have for their children's sports. We also focus on the ambition of athletes on their sports activities Methods: This is an empirical research. The mixed research method will be used for this work, so that is qualitative and quantitative. The forms of a semi-structured interview and semi- structured questionnaire were used for the research study. Then we converted the obtained results into graphs and charts where we monitored the correlation between in the data obtained about athletes and their parents. Results: We knew how important the influence of parents is on their children's sports career. More or less parents did not care what sport their children chose. It was important for parents to make their children do what they enjoyed. The most important thing for parents was that their children develop motor skills and try more sports. The Attitude of University Students towards Sport and Physical Activities

Alžběta Anna Šimurdová Title: The attitude of university students towards sport and physical activities Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is to determine whether university students tend to do more physical activities and sports compared to people who have been already working and whether they do have any preferences in sports or any other physical activities. Another objective is an analysis and comparison of diet between the two groups in order to focus on their regime, addictions, sleep, and daily routines. Methods: This thesis is based on a quantitative type of research. The SFSPA questionnaire was elected as the main research method. This questionnaire was adjusted to meet the needs of the theoretical outcomes of this thesis. The questionnaire was published through a form on Google Forms, from which all the answers were transferred into an MS Excel file where all the data were processed into written form, all the results transferred to graphs and contingency tables were formed. Hypotheses were verified through Pearson's Chí-kvadrát test. Results: There were 294 participants from the Czech Republic answering the questionnaire.
