Creating Logistics Concepts in the Selected Company
Čermáková, Veronika ; Komárková, Lenka (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
This thesis analyzes a logistic concept in the company Autoexpres CZ, s. r. o. It consists from a theoretical part and from an analysis of current situation in the company. In the theoretical part are explained the basic logistic terms. In the analysis of current situation in the company is described a current progress of a contract, an analysis of processes in the company and costs. In the last part of the thesis are final proposals which should help to the better progress of a contract, to save time, costs and to increase satisfaction of a customers and also leadership of the company.
Modelling of surface water pollution in the Rakovnický brook water basin using GIS
Komárková, Lenka ; Matějíček, Luboš (advisor) ; Benešová, Libuše (referee)
There is a number of hydrological models with a wide range of applications. With its development, models have recently become an important tool for hydrologists, water managers and environmentalists in the design and operational planning. We have to bear in mind that it is only a simplification of the complexity of the system and it can not include all of the variables. For this reason it is appropriate to model results compared with the measured data. In my diploma thesis I chose SWAT model because it has been positively evaluated by other users and it is compatible with ArcGIS 10.1. The diploma thesis deals with the use of geographic information systems (GIS) and modeling techniques based on SWAT (Soil and Water Assessment Tool) for evaluation of surface flows of nitrates in Rakovnicky brook water basin in hydrological year 2000 with focus on point and non-point sources of pollution. For the spatial data is used ArcGIS 10.1 with the support of basic map layers ZABAGED and DIBAVOD and available aerial photographs and satellite scenes from LANDSAT. This diploma thesis draws on the project GAUK, which took place in the Rakovnicky brook in years 1998 - 2000 and its aim was to evaluate total physical - chemical parameters of the Rakovnicky brook. Model SWAT has proved very difficult and sensitive to the input...
Analysis of transactional client behavior after the introduction of contactless cards
Hozdová, Kateřina ; Komárková, Lenka (advisor) ; Přibyl, Vladimír (referee)
The aim of the diploma thesis is to find out how the client's transactional behavior changed after the introduction of the contactless card. The thesis presents a theoretical basis for understanding the topic of banking and payment cards, its legal regulations and history. The transaction data for the monitored period are obtained for analysis. This data is cleared of influences that distort the findings. Then, using descriptive statistics of time series, the development of these data is monitored. The thesis presents interviews about transaction behavior of individual persons according to client typology. The work resulted in transactional behavior of clients being affected by the introduction of contactless cards, by making more frequent payments at lower amounts than in contact cards.
Analysis of the Impact of Minimum Wages of the Labour Market in the Czech Republic
Skalník, Pavel ; Vopátek, Jiří (advisor) ; Komárková, Lenka (referee)
This thesis describes and analyses a current approach towards minimum wage, its historical reasons of application and supposed impact onto the society. There is defined effect on the employer and employee as well as there are being explained particular effects of the socially-protecting and economic-criterial functions both from the theoretical and practical point of view. The main focus is given onto the theoretical concepts of the effects of the minimum wage and other economical indicators in the labour market. The analysis captures the development of timelines since 1993 up to 2015 in a graphical way (graph descriptions) and in a statistical way too (particularly via correlation and regression methods). The results of the statistical tests claim that minimum wage has no statistically significant influence onto the situation in the labour market in the Czech Republic. Supposed theoretical connection between the amount of the minimum wage and unemployment did not prove after all.

An evaluation of wind power plants effects on the environement using GIS
Komárková, Lenka ; Matějíček, Luboš (advisor) ; Přibil, Rudolf (referee)
Annotation: Wind turbines are devices that extract energy from renewable sources of energy and transform kinetic wind energy into electrical energy. Among renewable sources belong we rank sources which have the ability to partly of fully restore themselves, without human efforts. These include solar energy, geothermal energy, hydropower, tidal, wave and biomass energy. Most renewable energy has its origin in sunlight. The topic of the wind power, I chose because I find this topic up-to-date and controversial. At a time when in the whole world are non-renewable energy sources like coal, oil and natural gas is important to realize that other than by way of renewable energy sources will be avoided in future energy sources. Bachelor thesis will include a brief history of the use of wind, types of wind power, efficiency and new technologies such as offshore wind farms. The main focus will be to compare the pozitives and negatives of wind power plants and their impact on nature. Some problems associated with the operation of wind energy are exaggerated, some may be minimized. The aim will be to summarize the negatives and relevant sources to determine whether the excess of permitted limits and how wind affects the landscape and population. One part will be the noise map in the vicinity of the selected wind turbines.
Unemployment Duration in the Czech Republic Through the Lens of Survival Analysis
Čabla, Adam ; Malá, Ivana (advisor) ; Komárková, Lenka (referee) ; Popelka, Jan (referee)
In the presented thesis the aim is to apply methods of survival analysis to the data from the Labour Force Survey, which are interval-censored. With regard to this type of data, I use specific methods designed to handle them, especially Turnbull estimate, weighted log-rank test and the AFT model. Other objective of the work is the design and application of a methodology for creating a model of unemployment duration, depending on the available factors and its interpretation. Other aim is to evaluate evolution of the probability distribution of unemployment duration and last but not least aim is to create more accurate estimate of the tail using extreme value theory. The main benefits of the thesis can include the creation of a methodology for examining the data from the Labour Force Survey based on standard techniques of survival analysis. Since the data are internationally comparable, the methodology is applicable at the level of European Union countries and several others. Another benefit of this work is estimation of the parameters of the generalized Pareto distribution on interval-censored data and creation and comparison of the models of piecewise connected distribution functions with solution of the connection problem. Work brought empirical results, most important of which is the comparison of results from three different data approaches and specific relationship between selected factors and time to find a job or spell of unemployment.
