Kubištová Máčiková, Adriana ; Kočvarová, Markéta (advisor) ; Havelka, Jiří (referee)
In my work I focus on the basic motives for playing the theatre from actors view. I analyse these motives following to my own experience and at some points with help of literature. I mention the spectator as the main argument for playing theatre. I entitle here individual kinds of spectators according to my observation of my surroundings. I devote myself to basic theatre relationship between the actor and the spectator. I think about its possibilities and about possibilities of their communication. I understand as very important part of the function of the theatre the space where the performance takes place in. Its influence on the actor-spectator relationship is enormous. Mentioned thoughts are supported by experiences from my theatrical praxis. At the end I ask myself, whether all the reason for playing are sufficient.

Actor and Complexes
Vančura, Petr ; Kočvarová, Markéta (advisor) ; Makonj, Karel (referee)
The work Actor and Complexes comes from the efforts to catch the insecurity and doubt of a beginning actor. When I have in my mind an actor, I speak about myself and when I write about the complexes, I think about a unique constellation of my personal faults and pains. The intention of this work is not a special psychological work but a detail scrutiny of myself. I do not dare to judge somebody else. Instead I would like the others to judge me or find some resemblance. Complexes form our personality as well as a sculptor and although they work with different material, the result is undeniably similar. I am their product and to be able to see myself I need a mirror. This work is the mirror of my theatre practice in which I aspire to see not only my reflection but also its essence.

Štíchová, Vendula ; Císař, Jan (advisor) ; Kočvarová, Markéta (referee)
This thesis tries to illustrate characteristics of amateur and professional principles of work in dramatic art. The paper is based on my personal experience as I am a member of theatrical group called Geisslers Hofcomoedianten. This group revives the Špork family tradition of theatrical performance in the village of Kuks. Geisslers Hofcomoedianten was formed out of pure enthusiasm and interest in theatre. Over the time, some of the members turned their hobby into professional careers - thus being banned from amateur theatre - due to regulations. Each chapter shows various views to understand the differences between amateur and professional theatrical work and tries to define the principle of each.
