Project of a parents' handbook focused on integration of affected children into the nursery school

Ve své praxi jsem se ocitla na miste asistenta pedagoga ve speciálni mateřské škole. S mým nástupem souviselo hledáni informaci k problematice děti s postižením a integraci děti do mateřské školy. Knih o speciální pedagogice je u nás celá řada, ale přijde mi, že orientace v nich není snadná. Obzvláště pak pro rodiče, kterých se tato problematika přímo dotýká. Cílem této práce je nabídnout rodičům dětí s postižením srozumitelný přehled informací - jakéhosi průvodce, jenž se pokusí usnadnit jim orientaci především ve službách, na které se mohou obrátit. Dále zodpoví na jejich časté otázky, nastíní možnosti umístění dětí s postižením do mateřské školy i další vyhlídky do budoucna. Těžištěm této práce je rodina s postiženým dítětem v předškolním věku. Aby byla zachována kontinuita výchovy dítěte s postižením v rodině, rozšiřuje se toto období od okamžiku narození po vyhlídky do budoucnosti - další možnosti po absolvování mateřské školy.

Comparison of Knowledge in the Field of Oral Health among Students at the 3rd Faculty of Medicine, Charles University

The aim: The aim of this Bachelor's thesis is to compare knowledge in the field of oral health among students at the 3rd faculty of medicine, Charles University and find out if the future healthcare professional is interested in this topic. Introduction: The issue of oral health should be a part of a basic education of every person, because healthy mouth is necessary for overall health and the quality of life. Material and methodology: I got the oral health knowledge using the questionnaire method. The questionnaire was posted on Facebook and then sent by our study division. I got 648 responses, 398 was from the subject General Medicine, 121 was from the subject General Nurse, 54 was from the subject Dental Hygienist, 38 was from the subject Public Health and 37 was from the subject Physiotherapy. The results were compared among all students and then with a group of 30 students of the 3rd year of subject general nurse which finished a subject about nursing in dentistry. Results: I found out that students at the 3rd faculty of medicine UK are not informed enough about oral health even after finishing the subject about nursing in dentistry.
