How children imagine death based on a story

The thesis offers reflection on human attitude to death, dying and aging. It offers a look at the topic in terms of relationships connected with death. It speaks about stages of child development in terms of development of their personality from the viewpoint of psychodynamic, cognitive and emotional development. It offers reflection on the correct communication and on the question when is the correct time to start talking about death with children. It submits the utilization of one of the art techniques, drawing, to find out how children imagine death. In the practical part, it describes and evaluates graphic rendering made by preschool and school age children. It presents the possibility of utilization of drawing with a book story as a way to not only find out how children imagine death but also other uses as a way out of difficult life situations. This method can help children to clarify their thoughts about a particular topic and it can be a tutorial for adults on how to induce an appropriate dialogue about the topic with them.
MassMedia and Political Decision Making

The thesis explores the nature and function of mass media in society. It deals with the theoretical description, development and effects of mass media which can influence the recipient of media content. It presents a brief overview of the development of the photography, which is especially an important means of communication in the printed media. The work deals with the preparation techniques which can shape the media message. A substantial part of the work is devoted to political marketing, which is applied in political communication. The election campaings play an important role in the pre-election period because voters can gain the most information about the candidates. Thus, political parties set its own communication strategy and use media in the dissemination of its electoral programme. The thesis provides an analytical view of the political communication in the media and the influence on the content of news in the concept of agenda-setting. The aim of this thesis is to highlight the possible effects of mass media and political communication to the public in the electoral decision-making. International conglomerates of luxury goods and their specifics

The main theme of this thesis identifies the specifics of international luxury good conglomerates and their functioning. The aim of this work is to clearly map and describe the conglomerates' functioning, their brand's position, and the positive and the negative effects of their presence. The content of the thesis includes the definition of luxury and luxury goods, and also a brief overview of the worldwide trends and consumer preferences in the luxury segment. The following part contains an analysis of strategic brand management and its influence on the brands, and an analysis of the internal communication activities within the three biggest luxury groups: LVMH, Kering and Richemont. The next part concerns the Czech Republic and the local perception of luxury. The final part is dedicated to the articulation of trends in the luxury market, specifics of groups and its working, and finally, the results of their external communication and existence in the Czech Republic.
