Evaluation of the McKenzie Method in the Treatment of Postural Syndrome using Computer Kinesiology
Strejcová, Hana ; Honců, Pavla (advisor) ; Jandová, Dobroslava (referee)
The aim of this bachelor thesis was to evaluate the treatment in the diagnosis of the postural syndrome using McKenzie method. In the theoretical part are mentioned influences on the corrext body posture. Also it is explained, what the postural syndome is, what the cause of pain of this syndrome is and how the therapy looks like. In the practical part is studied 6 probands with this diagnosis. For evaluation was used subjective assesment of the probands and the diagnostic part of the expert and information system of Computer Kinesiology. There was improvement in the output examination of 5 probands in the segment L5 and improvement in the output examination of 4 probands in the segment L4. All probands subjectively evaluate the therapy positively.
SMSystem for Scoliosis
Hubertová, Ivana ; Smíšek, Richard (advisor) ; Jandová, Dobroslava (referee)
The practical part describes the progress of research on a group of 6 volunteers with a diagnose of the scoliosis. 8 static and dynamic tests were used to test the effect of SM- System - to assess differences of thoracolumbal triangles, to asess differencess in shoulder heigh, for measurement of the distance from the knee to the groung in a sitting position, for measurement of the distance from acromion to the ground lying on the bed, to test the difference in standing on two scales, to test standing on one leg, to verify the involvement of latissimus dorsi spiral during exercise and to verify the involvement of the deep stabilization system during exercise. In the second part the efect of spiral stabilization was verified through examination in the diagnostic and therapeutic kinesiology computer system. In the third part the influence of SM-System exercise was assessed on subjective perception of proband pain. Practically all tests with the spiral stabilization were proved as successful. Thus it was shown that SM-System exercise has a promising effect to the patients with scoliosis.
Changes in kinesiological analysis and diagnostical part of Computer Kinesiology as the Evidence-based medicine indicated therapy of active athletes with musculoskeletal system disorders
Pavluch, Lukáš ; Jandová, Dobroslava (advisor) ; Šrámek, Petr (referee)
Manifestation of functional disorders of the movement system has several diagnostic denominations in terms of diagnosis, namely the fixation of new non-economic motor stereotypes due to the formation of muscle imbalances, changes in postural load, increased demands on spinal biomechanics and joint system, the presence of reflective changes and also the chaining phenomenon. Long-term functional deficiency disrupts the motion strategy and is a risk for structural failure. For active athletes, the need to harmonize the movement system is essential. It is a prerequisite for improved performance, easier regeneration and adaptation of body to increased physical strain. Taking into account the different individual physical predispositions, the unequal demands on the movement system in individual disciplines, the need for long-term compensation is obvious. A group of five athletes of various sport disciplines was diagnosed by the CK system methodology and for a period of two months practiced a regularly designed set of exercises. In all monitored, the input values of the total dysfunction decreased, the number of reflex changes decreased, and the spine dynamics improved. Output data from Computer Kinesiology confirmed the final kinesiological analysis. The CK Expert System offers an effective, measurable diagnostic...
Prohibition of discrimination on grounds of sex in labour-law relations
Jandová, Darina ; Vysokajová, Margerita (advisor) ; Štangová, Věra (referee)
The purpose of my thesis is to provide a comprehensive view on the issue of discrimination based on sex in labour-law relations. The aim of my thesis is to investigate why discrimination is still present in society despite all the effort made by the international organisations, legislators and non-governmental organizations. Therefore, the main objective of this work is to analyse the current position of women in society, the causes of why discrimination based on sex is emerging and to find out whether the status of women has improved over the decades and in which direction it is developing. The thesis is composed of seven chapters, each discussing different aspects of gender discrimination. The first chapter is an introductory part providing a brief look at the historical developments of the issue in the Czech Republic and abroad. It also examines individual areas of labour-law relations in which discrimination often occurs. The second chapter defines basic terminology used in the thesis, i.e. "equality", "direct and indirect discrimination", "sex", "gender" and "labour-law relations". The third chapter describes various international organisations such as The United Nations, The International Labour Organization and The Council of Europe that are active in the field of fighting discrimination and...
Music and rhythm in physiotherapy
Císařová, Romana ; Herbenová, Alena (advisor) ; Jandová, Dobroslava (referee)
This bachelor work is analyzing use of music and rhythm in physiotherapy practice. It describes effects of music on somatic functions and psychology of a man. It emphasizes significance of rhythm and rhythmical activities during the therapy. Focuses on therapy application in to the neurology, pediatrics and for patients suffering psychical problems.
Physiotherapy of scoliosis
Dihlová, Petra ; Jandová, Dobroslava (advisor) ; Volejník, Václav (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with a question of skoliosis as a whole, from its etiology, diagnosis to therapy. Scoliosis is a pathological curvature of the spine, which eventuality may not have an effect on the musculoskeletal system, but also on the cardiopulmonary system. It is therefore necessary not only its early diagnosis but also therapy with a strictly individual approach to the patient. The goal of this thesis was to explore the possibilities of kinesiotherapy.
Verification of the effect of spiral stabilisation on plantar arch
Kubias, Vít ; Smíšek, Richard (advisor) ; Jandová, Dobroslava (referee)
In the theoretical part findings about anatomy, kinesiology and foot function in standing position and gait cycle are summarized. There are also described the theoretical foundations of the SM-system method. The practical part includes a study that was designed to verify the effect on plantar arch during standing and walking. The evaluation was conducted on 2 groups of volunteers - research group counts 20 subjects, and the control group, which counts eight subjects. The evaluation of plantar arch was carried out on the baropodometer. Examination of standing on the baropodometer did not show significant deviations in the state of plantar arch in the research group nor in the control group. Examination of walking on the baropodometer showed a greater increase of plantar arch in the research group, compared with the control group.
