Design of the vacuum treadmill

The diploma thesis concerns with the design of the vac- uum treadmill. The aim was to create a vision of this machine for the near future. As the final result we en- counter a brand new conception, consisting of the outer stable base, inner tilting base, upper frame with steel handle, control panel and airtight bellows. The design includes 3 different colour schemes. The first part of the thesis analyses the historical de- velopment and construction and design solutions. The second part describes this particular design project in detail, including its development.
Design of pendulum clock

This bachelor thesis concerns with the design of the mechanical wall pendulum clock. This product should be characterized by the combination of glamour and reliability of the fine mechanics together with modern design language and high-quality materials. Author’s objective is to create the mechanical clock which would correspond to the contemporary design trends, taking up the old tradition of watchmaking along with being electrical power independent and taking advantage of the opportunity on the present-day markets.

This bachelor thesis describes the communication activities of Artbanka Museum of Young Art from 2011 to early 2013, when the institution ended its activities. The work describes in detail the subject of AMoYA, its origins, objectives, promotion and risks associated with its activities. Much of the work is devoted to describing the elements of the communication mix and the elements that AMoYA had available as part of its promotional activities.
Short Sea Shipping and the Port of Hamburg

This Master Thesis occupies itself with Short Sea Shipping and its link to the Port of Hamburg. The theoretical part deals in its first part with the topic Short Sea Shipping in general, defines it, describes its specifics and presents its position and regulation in the European Union, second part introduces the Port of Hamburg and basic data about its performance in general and most importantly in the field of Short Sea Shipping. The practical part analyses available statistics and documents monitoring the current situation and mainly political tendencies related to Short Sea Shipping in the European Union. The concluding chapter deal with an interview held with a representative of Hafen Hamburg Marketing in Prague regarding this subject in relation to the Port of Hamburg. Main goals of this Master Thesis are to identify key Short Sea markets, potential, opportunities and challenges of the Port of Hamburg.
