Title: Case study of the physiotherapy treatment of the patient after stroke with left hemiparesis Aims: The aim of this bachelor thesis was to gain theoretical knowledge about stroke and the development of the case study of a patient after ischemic stroke with left hemiparesis. Summary: This bachelor thesis deals with a stroke. It consists of two main parts. The theoretical part contains a general definition of a stroke, the basic anatomy of the blood supply to the brain, the physiological values of a blood flow through the brain arteries, regulatory mechanisms, pathophysiology of disease's origin, stroke classification, diagnosis and treatment of disease. This part also contains specific rehabilitation treatment for various periods of disease and basic facilitation methods used in rehabilitative treatment of this disease. The practical part contains a case study of physiotherapy treatment of the patient after stroke with left hemiparesis, with whom I worked on inpatient rehabilitation in the Ústřední vojenská nemocnice from 21. 1. 2016 to. 5. 2. 2016. This part also includes a methodology of this thesis, input kinesiology analysis, individual therapy and output kinesiology analysis with evaluation of the effect of therapy. Title: Case Study of Physiotherapy Treatment of the Patient with the Diagnosis of Unilateral Above - Knee Amputation. Objectives: Summary of theoretical knowledge on the issue of amputation and processing of case study of the patient with the diagnosis of unilateral below knee amputation. Methods: The bachelor thesis consists of two parts. The general part includes the literature review of anatomy and kinesiology. The research furthermore investigates the problematic of amputations and prothesis, where it is focused on physiotherapy. The special part - case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient with the diagnosis of unilateral above-knee amputation, contains case history, complex kinesiology examination, prosess of each therapy and final evaluation of its effect. The case study was written during rehabilitation practice in The Military University Hospital. Results: The applied therapeutic care positively contributed to the improved condition of the patient. Title: The case study of a physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient with stroke and total hip arthroplasty. Aim: The aim of this thesis is to analysis a theoretical knowledge about stroke and total hip arthroplasty and elaboration of physiotherapy treatment schedule in the form of an patient with these two diagnosis case study. Methods: This bachelor thesis elaborate stroke and total hip arthroplasty for femoral neck fracture. The thesis is divided into two parts - general and special. I deal with patient's diagnosis in general part of thesis. I describe ethiopatogenesis of stroke, ischemia in carotid artery in detail and I deal with chronic stroke rehabilitation. Further I elaborate anatomy and kinesiology of hip joint, femoral neck fracture and its treatment. In the end I combine these two diagnosis because femoral neck fracture is common complication of a stroke. Special part include case study of a patient with ischemic stroke and total hip arthroplasty. The physiotherapy treatment is described here in detail, also input and output kinesiology analysis, short - term and long - term therapy plan and evaluation of therapy effect are here. Objective: Create the case report of a patient after ischemic stroke and elaboration of physiotherapy treatment schedule in the form of an after stroke patient case study. Methods: This work was done within uninterrupted practise at Central Military Hospital in Prague from 6. 1. - 31. 1. 2014 at the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. The work is divided into two section. The first section includes basic characteristic of the illness - vascular anathomy, distribution of stroke, clinical presentation, diagnosis and treatment. Title of bachelor`s thesis: The case study of physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient with a diagnosis of total hip replacement Aims: The aim of this Bachelor thesis has been to improve theoretical knowledge and practical skills connected with the diagnosis of total hip replacement and with various physiotherapeutic methods used after the implantation of an artificial hip joint. Summary: The thesis is divided into two parts. The first, general part deals with the anatomy and kinesiology of the hip joint as well as with coxarthrosis as the most frequent cause leading to the total hip replacement, and with operating approaches and particular types of implants mostly used in practice. Important part of the first section is the rehabilitation plan used in patients afflicted with this diagnosis, which includes preoperative rehabilitation, early rehabilitation after the operation, as well as subsequent curative rehabilitation. The second, specialist part deals with the casuistry of a patient submitted to the implantation of an artificial hip joint, including an assessment of the effects of the chosen therapy by comparing the kinesiological analyses before and after the treatment. Title: The case study of a physiotherapeutical treatment of a patient with total hip arthroplasty Summary: The aim of this thesis is to elaborate theoretical and practical knowledge of the physiotherapy care of patients with this diagnosis. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first general part is focused on anatomical and kinesiological description of the hip and issue of an osteoarthritis and the joint arthroplasty. The second part is a special part, in which is processed a case of a patient with total hip arthroplasty. This case report includes an input kinesiology analysis, a target of the therapy, a short-term and a long-term plan, a course of therapeutic units, an output kinesiology analysis and an evaluation of the effect of the therapy. The case was processed during a continuous professional practice in the Military University Hospital Prague at the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in the period from 22th of January to 3rd of February 2015. Aim: The aim of this thesis is to elaborate theoretical and practical knowledge of the diagnosis and their application while processing the case study of a patient after total hip replacement. Methods: The bachelor thesis is divided into a general and a special part. The general part is focused on the total hip replacement issue. I describe the anatomy and kinesiology of hip joint, coxarthrosis and arthroplasty of a hip joint, including the rehabilitation. The special part contains the case study of a patient after total hip replacement, including input and output kinesiology analysis, goal of the therapy, a short-term and a long-term therapy plan, therapy units and evaluation of therapy effect. The case study was processed during my internship in the Military University Hospital in Prague at the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in the period from 22th of January to 2nd of February 2015. Title: Case study of a physiotherapy care of a patient after total hip replacement Aim: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to get a theoretical and practical knowledge of the implementation of the total hip replacement and its application within the pacient's care. Methods: The bachelor thesis is divided into the General part and the Special part. The General part is dedicated to the total hip replacement issue. I was trying to describe the anatomy and kinesiology of the hip. Than I have been focusing on a coxarthritis, which is the most often diagnosed before the total hip replacement. I also mentioned the types of the total hip replacement and possible post-surgery complication. The important part of the thesis is following treating rehabilitation. In special part I was elaborating a case study of a patient with the total hip replacement. The Case study was made up during the training in the General military hospital (Jan 6th - Jan 31st 2014). Title: The case study of physiotherapeutical treatment of a patient with diagnosis edema and shock of cervical spinal cord. Summary: The topic of the bachelor thesis is a case interpretation of the patient with edema and shock of cervical spinal cord which happened after a car accident. The aim of this thesis is a comprehensive treatment of the theoretical and practilal knowledge in a patient with the above mentioned diagnosis. The general theoretic part processes anatomy of a spine and a spinal cord. This anatomy is followed by description of the spine and spinal cord injury. Further I deal a clinical picture, pathophysiology of spinal cord injury and subsequent rehabilitation in the theoretical part. The special part includes a case interpretation of the patient with edema and shock of cervical spinal cord and a therapy of this demage. The chosen physiotherapy effect is evaluated in a conclusion. Michal Říha MD, PhD., MBA Object: The aim of this work is to describe the problems of cervicalgia. Summary: This thesis consists of two parts - special and general. General part focuses on the definition of the disease, causes, clinical features and therapeutic approaches to the issue. The special part is the most important part of the thesis. It includes a case history of a patient with chronic neck pain. Critical part of this case history is a plan of therapy and record of individual physiotherapy procedures which were applied according to the initial analysis. In the end of the special part is the evaluation of the effeciency of the therapy. The case history was developed during internship in the Military University Hospital in Prague. From the achieved results of the research of the theses we can say that the used procedures in therapy contributed to the improvement of the condition of the patient.
