Progressive methods for waste water treatment

This bachelor thesis contains a description of progressive separation methods for wastewater treatment. It deals with the basic principles of separation methods, including membrane processes, sonolysis, ozonization, photolysis and photocoalysis. Their strengths and weaknesses are also described. Part of the thesis is also evaluation and comparison of individual technologies with regard to their practical applicability.
Estimation of municipal solid waste composition from the perspective of packaging

This master´s thesis focuses on prediction of presence of reusable material components in municipal waste with special focus on packaging materials. This prediction is based on analysis of financial costs of individual products according to the so-called market basket. Research of packaging´s life cycle and involving legislature is also a part of this thesis.
The role of the social media at the development in the course and during recovery of an eating disorder

The prevalence and influence of social media, especially among the younger generation, are steadily increasing. Concerns about the potential negative impact on the mental health of users, especially those who are more sensitive and vulnerable to external influences, are also growing. The topic of this bachelor thesis is the role of social media in the development, in the course, and during recovery from an eating disorder. The theoretical part of the thesis provides an insight into eating disorders and social media and also outlines the possible positive and negative aspects that social networks bring in relation to the disorder. The practical part is conducted in the form of qualitative research, specifically in-depth interviews. The respondents are young women who have been diagnosed with an eating disorder in the past. They aim to provide a deeper understanding of the relationship between social media and eating disorders from the perspective of the affected individuals, to find out what role social media played in the different stages of their illness, as well as identify specific positive and negative factors that the use of social media in the context of ED brings.

Prevention of bullying in elementary schools through personal and social education

This thesis is focused on the prevention of bullying through personality and social education courses Projekt Odyssea in elementary school. The goal of this work is to determine how pupils, educators and school leaders perceive the courses Projekt Odyssea and whether preventive courses have impact on collectives of individual classes. Data was obtained from interviews with pupils, teachers, school management and the questionnaire survey with pupils. Questionnaires detect the climate of individual classes, relationships between pupils in the classroom, or how students perceive community circles and classes Projekt Odyssea. The results of the research show a positive effect of classesProjekt Odyssea on the personality and social development of pupils. The effect of courses of personality and social education positively promotes good relationships between pupils themselves, between pupils and teachers and this is benefit to the overall school climate.

The thesis Zdeněk Šeřík, the poet of the Czech-Moravian Highlands (on the problem of Czech Regionalism) will be dealing with the personality and his works. The thesis will be divided into two main parts. The first part will be rather theoretical and it will define the terms of regional literature, region and regional personality. The second part will be practical and it will study and subsequently analyse the obtained information, namely the statements of the natives and witnesses. The thesis involved even the samples of texts, experiments in brief interpretation and contemporary interpretation.
