This diploma thesis deals with conict economic situations based on game theory. In the beginning, basic models of conict situations and current popular software tools are dened not only for the general support of student education or for science, but also for solving economic problems in game theory. Based on this analysis, the conicting situation of two competing rms is being solved. Gradually, work goes deeper into areas of delay dierential equations that better show the behavior of two players on the market. Subsequently, these delayed dierential equations are projected into the Cournot model, for which a critical value is identied that switches the stability of two rms on the market due to the delayed realization of their outputs.

Applications of Selected Quantitative Methods for Financial Analysis of Company Operating both e-shop and Store

The aim of this thesis is to analyse financial situation of a company using the main principes of financial analysis and selected quantitative methods. The main sources for data collection were accounting statements – profit and loss statement and balance sheet. The regression analysis has been undertaken in order to prognose time development of selected indicators. Final calculations and visualisation of the figures are presented in MS Excel and Maple softwares. In addition the present paper includes interpretations of the outcomes and recommendations fot further financial development of the company.

The aim of the bachelor thesis „Analysis of the profit by using simulations for proposal of business strategy“ is to analyze current state of a company and submit a proposal for improvement of business strategy. In the first part of the bachelor thesis defines strategic objectives of company, used measuring methods and methods leading to proposal of business strategy. The second part includes analysis of the company profit through costs, sales and break event point. In the last part I focused on the review of outcomes and new business proposals.

Thesis „Production Process Analysis in Selected Enterprise” is focused on specific production processes especially their description, possible changes and subsequent evaluation of impact of changes. It includes theoretical bases for production processes, their improvements and investments to production processes. Moreover there are included methods of investment business evaluation and mathematical modeling. Selected company and specific selected process that theoretical methods are applied upon in Maple is in practical portion.

Linear Programming Used as an Effective Weapon by Manager

The Bachelor’s thesis is focused on the processes taking place in the firm and their optimization using linear programming. At the first part of thesis the theoretical background, basic concepts and methods are defined, thus become familiar with operational research. Then the current situation and subject of business of the company are analyzed. The analytical section will examine specific situation related to the process in the company, knowledge of linear programming will be applied and we will attempt to find out whether these mathematical discipline can be practically used also in nonmanufacturing company, that is primarily engaged in providing logistics. Finally, the results will be interpreted using the software Maple.
