Design of a chess manipulator
Novák, Tomáš ; Parák, Roman (referee) ; Cejpek, Zdeněk (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis deals with a design and realization of a chess manipulator and its controlling through a graphical user-friendly interface. The theoretical part is divided into two sections, a brief insight into manipulation technique and a more in-depth characteristic of robotic manipulators. The practical part focuses on the chosen chess set and a concept of the robotic manipulator. The following parts then describe the structural units, motor and control units and electronic components. Additionally involves the practical part the design and implementation of the manipulator via the Arduino and the user interface. In the final part is created a functional model and designed possible future improvements and development.
Loose-it-all machine
Švik, Ondřej ; Hůlka, Tomáš (referee) ; Cejpek, Zdeněk (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design and construction of a prototype of a “lose-it all” machine for educational purposes. The lose-it-all machine serves to implement a simple gambling game. The machine uses proprietary jettons as currency. The practical part of this bachelor’s thesis is dedicated to the description of the functionality, design, basic features, build construction, and the software solutions of the machine. It describes the physical implementation and creation of the various necessary parts of the lose-it-all machine. The theoretical part of this thesis includes research about gambling as well as an introduction to hazard addiction and its prevention.
Design of a VR workshop
Veškrna, Filip ; Cejpek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Hůlka, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with creating a program for virtual reality devices. The theoretical part analyzes available headsets and other accessories. Furthermore, the work deals with the description of available engines for creating VR applications. In the practical part of the thesis, an application for virtual reality is created in Unity, representing a simple workshop. The application contains a number of active and interactive elements in order to create the most convincing impression of a real workshop.
Hobby robotic arm control design
Chursin, Aleksei ; Parák, Roman (referee) ; Cejpek, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with the assembly of a robotic arm designed by the CustomElectronics group, the implementation of its control and the subsequent design of a laboratory task using this manipulator. The theoretical part describes the construction of the mechanism, the properties of the manipulator and other devices used in the design. The practical part is focused on the implementation of the proposed task and the development of documents.
Mini 3D printer
Čermák, František ; Cejpek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Hůlka, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with desig of a functional miniature 3D printer. The theoretical part analyzes the anatomy and control of such printer. There is also a detailed description of individual parts of the printer. Materials that are used by FDM printer are mentioned as well. The practical part is about design and construction of the miniature FDM printer. Then the detailed workflow of electronic connection and manipulation with softwares to control the 3D printer is described. At the end of the thesis, the unusual problems that I encountered while solving the task are also analyzed and explained.
Design of automated terrarium
Heczko, Dominik ; Cejpek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Dosoudilová, Monika (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design of automated terrarium for breeding corn snake. The terrarium will be automated using programmable logic controller Siemens LOGO!. The design of the terrarium, including a description of the concept, selection of components and description of the control program is the main goal of the presented work. The basic theory of logical control and FBD programming were used for our purpose. The automation system was constructed and tested in real conditions finally.
Models and simulations of the emission-free mini-excavator with electric drive
Matiaško, Dušan ; Cejpek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Němec, Zdeněk (advisor)
The diploma thesis dealt with a partial problem of conversion of the mini-excavator E19 by Bobcat with an internal combustion engine to emission-free propulsion. The main task was design and construction of electrical and hydraulic circuits focusing on the drive of a mini-excavator. The simulations verified the properties and behavior of the mini-excavator under different conditions and initial settings. The results were comfirmed by experimental measurements. The output of the simulations recommended adjustments to the values of individual parameters depending on the travel speed but also the efficiency of the entire machine.
Integral quality criteria of regulation
Gruna, Jiří ; Cejpek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Dosoudilová, Monika (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the assessment of the quality of regulation using integral criteria. In the first part we are interested in the basic theory of regulation needed to understand the problem. It includes a description of the control system, differential equations in the theory of transfer function, types of regulators and addresses the question of stability. In the second part the thesis introduces the integral criteria. Using their area, we assess the quality of regulation. For clarity, the criteria are supplemented by examples to show their advantages and disadvantages.
Small Rotarz Turntable's Design
Škubal, Karel ; Cejpek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Matoušek, Radomil (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor's thesis is the design, its implementation, and subsequent commissioning of a rotary table. The main goal is to produce a small rotary table that can be used in the robotics laboratory for pick and place applications and possibly for other tasks, for example 3D scanning. The first part of the thesis is focused on description of different types of rotary tables, and individual selected components. Based on this, a table model is then designed and constructed.
Small Conveyor Design
Dražka, Vojtěch ; Cejpek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Matoušek, Radomil (advisor)
The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to design, construct and make a small belt conveyor for labs of Institute of Automation and Computer Science for pick-and-place application. Conveyor will not transport bulk nor heavy materials. Width of conveyor must be as low as possible and length of conveyor is set to 1 m. This thesis contains a literature review, design of conveyor, calculation of its properties and proposal for running the conveyor. Thesis also contains necessary drawing documentation and list of components with ordering numbers.
