ICT and security in elementary art schools

This bachelor thesis identifies and defines the security threats for the personal, property, and information safety management by the means of ICT in primary art schools. The manuscript describes processes of security control and risk management, principles of information security guidance according to the ISO/IEC 27000 standard and some of the security system technical designs. The security of electronic data and benefits or drawbacks of information system and data network utilization are also discussed. For better orientation in the topic and to simplify the decission process, an explaination of particular technological principles is provided. The research part of this work is focused on the means of security currently used by primary art schools, the effectivenness of such tools, and the plans for future instalation of new technology. Further, the state of the computer and cable network security in primary art schools is studied with the emphasis on the strength of account password and the password making policy. Finally, the means of wireless network protection, principles of data back-up, and remote desktop work safety are investigated. Possibilities of Application of the Concept of Lifelong Education in Basic Art Schools in Prague

1 ABSTRACT The thesis discusses possibilities of application of the concept of lifelong education in Basic Art Schools. The goal of the thesis is to propose a basic model of adult education which could be applied in Basic Art Schools. It focuses on the analysis of the literature on lifelong learning, lifewide learning, further education, and also on the analysis of strategic documents of the European Union and the Czech Republic in the field of lifelong learning and further education. Based on the analyses of the documents and external environment, a model of adult education in Basic Art Schools is proposed, the applicability of which is verified by a research investigation. A survey research examines the existence of education of diverse target groups of adults (both laymen and experts) in Basic Art Schools in Prague, the ratio of adult to younger students and the employed methods of their education. Structured interviews among five headteachers of Basic Art Schools in Prague clarify specific details of the process of educating adults in Basic Art Schools and provide more observations on the topic. Cultural differences influencing marketing communication

The objective of this bachelor thesis is to compare cultural differences in marketing communication and manners between the Czech and the Chinese market. Because of its recent launch in the Chinese market, the Czech company KOH-I-NOOR HARDTMUTH has been used as an example to demonstrate this. One of the main goal of this thesis is to analyze the behaviour of Chinese business society as oppose to the European, especially the Czech society. Particularly, which cultural dimensions were used to find out main differences between the two, which differences a company targeting the Chinese market should and needs to learn in order to become a success.
