Brabcová, Anna ; Kunertová, Tereza (advisor) ; Pítrová, Lenka (referee)
OF DIPLOMA THESIS IN ENGLISGH LANGUAGE The matter of accession of the European Union to the European Convention on Human Rights has been for decades a hot topic of legal and academic discussions. On the 18th December 2014, the Court of Justice of the European Union issued its long awaited Opinion 2/13 where the CJEU ruled that the Draft Accession Agreement is not compatible with EU law. In my diploma thesis I deal with the issue of accession of the EU to the ECHR. My aim is to provide with: 1) a complex analysis of the accession procedure, 2) an analysis of the Opinion 2/13 itself and 3) to outline the potential development of future steps. I particularly focus my attention on the CJEU reasoning in the Opinion 2/13 and I emphasize some facts showing the position of the CJEU from the different point of view. The first part of my diploma thesis provides an overview of development of the idea of the EU accession to the ECHR. Moreover, in the first part I deal with reasons for the accession, issue of legal basis for the accession and finally, I focus my attention to the negotiating process. The second part deals with the period after the 18th of December 2014 when the Draft Accession Agreement has been by the CJEU announced as incompatible. I analyse the CJEU's reasoning in the Opinion 2/13 and the View...

Brabcová, Anna ; Kunertová, Tereza (advisor) ; Svobodová, Magdaléna (referee)
- European Public Prosecutor's Office In my rigorous thesis I deal with the issue of the European Public Prosecutor's Office. This project is unique in the field of European criminal law, it is very problematic but to certain extant necessary, when the current course of the EU is taken into account. Efforts to establish the European Public Prosecutor's Office have been observed since the first half of the 1990s. It was necessary to subordinate and adapt not only the political will to the establishment of the European Public Prosecutor's Office but also the broad legislative environment and the relevant legal basis. Similarly, the path to adopt a legislative proposal was difficult. Although the European Commission presented a comprehensive legislative package regarding the protection of financial interests in 2013, demanding character of the project of the European Public Prosecutor's Office is confirmed by 4-years lasting negotiations. Finally, twenty member states of the European Union adopted the Council Regulation (EU) 2017/1939 implementing enhanced cooperation on the establishment of the European Public Prosecutor's Office in October 2017. The main goal of my rigorous thesis is to provide with a comprehensive analysis of the project of the European Public Prosecutor's Office from a historical...

Italian inspiration of middle european architecture
Brabcová, Anna ; Macek, Petr (advisor) ; Biegel, Richard (referee)
At the end of the 15th century in Bohemia penetrates the Renaissance style, which appeared in 1493 at the Prague Castle in the form of windows of the Vladislav Hall in the Old Royal Palace. Their appearance is historically and stylistically linked to the Buda Castle, where Vladislaus II. Jagiello relocated in 1490. Here he met the prime marble carvings of the court of Matthias Corvinus, for which worked Italian masters. Patterns of fragments of windows founded in Buda can find at the Palazzo Ducale of Federico da Montefeltro in Urbino, because Hungary was due Queen Beatrice of Aragon from Naples in live contact with Italy.

Production of potato protein hydrolysates using selected proteases applicable for food industry
BRABCOVÁ, Anna
Partial hydrolysates of two types potato protein concentrates were produced by four selected food proteases. Commercialy produced (company Lyckeby) protein concentrate and laboratory prepared concentrate from tubers of Ornella cultivar were subjected of enzymatic hydrolysis by Fromase 220TL, Fromase 220XLG, Maxiren XDS (commercialy available forms of chymosin) and Neutral protases from bacterial Bacillus subtilis. Protein profile of hydrolysates was created using SDS-PAGE. All hydrolysates were determined by solubility and antioxidant activity using DPPH method. The main aim of this study was to evaluate the efficiency of digestion potato protein concentrate by these selected proteases. Based on the results, the most effective enzyme used for hydrolysis of PC was Neutral proteases form Bacillus subtilis.
Evaluation of chemical composition of jerusalem artichoke tubers from autumn and spring harvest
BRABCOVÁ, Anna
This bachalor´s thesis deals with the evaluation of the chemical composition of tubers of Jerusalem artichoke for the selected set of 8 clones (Lola, Refla, Gigant, Běloslupký, Úrodný, Völkenroder Spindel, C 63, Karina). Due to the possibility of overwintering tubers in the soil, the tubers were analyzed genotypes of autumn (when dry above-ground plant matter) and then spring harvest (before the germination of tubers) were searched and any changes due to the influence of the winter. The tubers of all genotypes were analyzed for dry matter, protein content, crude protein content and the amount of nitrogen-free substances. Further, an analysis of protein profile by SDS-PAGE method. The highest dry matter content has been determined in tubers clone Gigant (29.1%) and the lowest dry matter content has been determined in tubers clone Lola (19.9%). Due to wintering have been decreased dry matter, crude protein, protein and nitrogen-free substances in the tubers of most the clones.
