Drop forging of flange

The aim of the project developed within the framework of the Bachelor's degree in Institute of Manufacturing Technology is the design of the production of a flange forging by die forging from alloy structural steel 14 220 (1. 7131). Size of production is set on 100 000 pieces per year. Based on calculations, the LMZ 4000 vertical forging press with a forming force of 40 MN is selected for production. Three production operations are selected for a given production. Forging dies are designed using an ejector. The material of the dies is alloy instrumental steel 19 552.8 (1. 2343). At the end of the project, a technical and economic evaluation is carried out where a price comparison and costs for the production of die forging and machining are given.

This work deals with faults, errors and failures, which can occur during manufacturing and long term operation. Work describes the various failures and fault models. There are some approaches to get fault tolerant systems, mainly in hardware. The thesis continues with a summary of methods for ALU software testing. The last chapter is about tests generation for microcontroller MSP430.

The bachelor thesis deals with the concept and the implementation of RS-485 serial line and its connection to FITkits. The work describes the features and possibly usage of the line, the alternatives of interfacing it to FITkit and the description of the application which was developed for FITkit.

Usury in democratic society. Ethical-historical and civic-legal view in the context of the Czech Republic

This written work deals with the meaning of the terms usury and interest over the course of time from the anthropological-historical point of view given by the philosophical and theological authorities and painters of the time. The work reflects the socio-ethical interpretation of moral dilemmas associated with usury in today's civic-economic practice, especially in the context of the Czech Republic. In the introductory section, the concept of usury is defined. On the basis of legal science, the principles governing the legal area in the decision-making and the definition of usurer behaviour in criminal and private law relations are highlighted. For the proper understanding of the issue are illuminated the meanings of terms such as debt, bond, compound and simple interest, annual average cost rate. The second part of the work is devoted to usury in selected biblical passages of the Old and New Testament. In the context of the comparison, a modest comparative insight into Islam is given in relation to usury (ribá), and some morally controversial banking transactions under sharia Islamic law are introduced. Father Jiří Jiljí Bouz, the Legacy of the Communist Regime Victim in the Light of Archival Documents

The thesis deals with the life of Jiří Jiljí Bouz, the victim of the Communist regime. The first part describes the life of J. J. Bouz, his formation, study and personalities that significantly influenced him. The next part presents his activities as a theologian and teacher in the Třeboň region and his membership in several clubs and organisations. The third part describes his first and second arrest, trial, incarceration, release; it also brings the memories of eyewitnesses, and information about his stay in Canada and persecution by the State Security (STB). The fourth part deals with the judicial rehabilitation and the fifth one presents some significant episodes from the final period of his life. The appendixes I and II in the text section bring for comparison the biographies of two personalities that significantly influenced the life of J. J. Bouz, namely his brother, Václav Aleš Bouz (martyrdom during the fascist occupation), and his friend and co-worker, Dean Jan Jordán Dostál (forced emigration due to the Communist totalitarianism persecution).
