Reactive dyeing of the cotton.
Březinová, Lenka ; Prchal, Václav (referee) ; Fasurová, Naděžda (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis was to find out the change of the hue lightness saturation after the change of composition of dyeing liquor. The reactive dye Bezaktiv rot S-B was used for dyeing cotton. Dyeing was performed in the laboratory by exhaustion method with two concentrations of dye 0,5 and 2 %. The influence of the change of alkali and electrolyte concentration additions to dyeing bath liquor at different liquors dye ratio was studied. Sodium chloride and Glauber's salt as elektrolyte were used. The dyed samples were washed and then fixed by two types of fixative agents REWIN ACP and REWIN EL. After that the measurement of hue control and the evaluation of fastness to water and rubbing fastness were done. The results were displayed in L*a*b* space and CIE differences between chosen standards and samples were performed by Datacolor International DC 3890.
The role of exosomes in chronic myeloid leukemia
Březinová, Lenka ; Krijt, Matyáš (advisor) ; Holada, Karel (referee)
Exosomes are extracellular vesicles of a size range 30-150 nm whose function has been explored in chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) due to their role in proliferation of CML cells, remodelling the bone marrow niche, angiogenesis and resistance to treatment with tyrosin- kinase inhibitors (TKIs). Although BCR-ABL kinase is effectively targeted by TKIs, 20-30 % of patients remain resistant to treatment. Resistance of CML cells to TKIs treatment is supported by exosomes. Exosomes transport proteins, nucleic acids, chemokines and small molecules that stimulate anti-apoptotic or suppress pro-apoptotic processes in leukemic cells. Anti-apoptotic processes are especially enhanced by upregulated protein levels: TGF- β1, USP6 and FGF2 and various types of RNA: miR-365, miR-21, Hsa_circ_0058493 and mRNA for BCR-ABL. In contrast leukemic cells tend to reduce the number of pro-apoptotic molecules, including miR-320, miR-328 and miR-146a-5p. Leukemic cells modify the bone marrow microenvironment through exosomes in the way to support their survival and also in order to adjust expression of adhesion and pro- angiogenic molecules. An important role in those processes play miR-126, miR-210 and miR- 92a. Neither the number of processes affected by CML exosomes nor their potential use in the treatment of CML is...
Allergies, medications and their complications, in this context,
Březinová, Lenka ; Jílek, Petr (advisor) ; Konečná, Klára (referee)
Charles University in Prague Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Biological and Medical Sciences Candidate: Lenka Březinová Supervisor: PharmDr. Petr Jílek, CSc. Title of bachelor thesis: Allergies, their complications and drugs in this context, early 21st century An allergy is one of the main health problems in major modern society. Although allergy is known for centuries, dramatic growth of incidence has been noticed in last decades. Discovery of immunoglobulin E as a carrier of direct hypersensitivity was an important progress in allergology. Allergic reactions are divided into six classes, which can diffuse each other. Clinical symptoms are predestined by mediators, which come from different cells. The best known is histamine, then leukotrienes, eicosanoids etc. Allergy can be complicated by rhinoconjuctivitis, chronic sinusitis, nasal polyps, middle ear inflammation, atopic eczema, and asthma or life threatening anaphylactic shock. Allergic symptoms are inhibited by antihistamines. There are two generation of these basic drugs. The next option to treat the allergy is the immunotherapy, which is the only one who has potential to avert or change process of allergic disease. However this treatment is very expensive. Allergy is worldwide epidemic with fast growing occurrence in...

Social environment and relationships of a client in terms of systemic constellations
BŘEZINOVÁ, Lenka
The diploma paper addresses the topic of the relation between systemic constellations, social environment and social work. The objective of the paper was to ascertain for what reasons clients most often use this method of work. The questions we wished to be answered were for example how the respondents came across systemic constellations, how long their decision-making lasted, and what primary impulse was the most important one. It was also interesting to learn what experience they had with this method of work, what effect on their life they perceived and what benefit for themselves they saw in the method. The paper includes description of the course of their first experience with their own constellation which had been elaborated for them.
