The Expulsion of Germans from Přebuz and the Transformation of the Town in the Postwar Period

To this day, the expulsion of Germans from Czechoslovakia after the Second World War can be counted among controversies in the history of Central Europe. Until 1989, this topic was a grey zone in our historiography. Naturally it was influenced by the regime at that time, whose collapse resulted in a research boom. At the same time, questions about the adequacy of the deportations arose. To this day, answers to these questions remain quite different. It often depends on where the response comes from. It is important to realize that the deportations greatly affected the lives of ordinary people. This thesis deals with the expulsion of Germans from Přebuz and the subsequent development of the town in the postwar period. In order to give a complete picture of the state of affairs in Přebuz before the deportations, one part will also be dedicated to the historical development and the population of the town since its founding until the end of the Second World War. The thesis deals with the German population in the town in the period between 1945 and 1989, which was not viewed sfavourably at that time. The consequences of the expulsion of Germans on the town itself, namely its depopulation and attempts at populating it again, are also taken into consideration. The issue of the German ethnic group status in inter-war Czechoslovakia shown in the Nejdek distric example

The subject of this dissertation thesis is investigating the issue of the German ethnic group status in inter-war Czechoslovakia shown in the example of the Nejdek political district with the emphasis on the major and crucial aspects of social life - politics, economic and social issues while the assistance and support elements include: demographics, border issues, the presence of the Czech ethnic group, a preview of own (German) history and the development of churches and religion. The Nejdek political district is set within a framework of regional history with regard to the historical context of the development of Czechoslovakia, or even of the world in some cases. The regional history presented here in the form of a probe from the perspective of great historical events and partly through micro-history aim to build on the broad source base and capture the impacts and effects of national policies on shaping of the Nejdek region and its inhabitants. In some ways, when possible of course, research methods are applied. In this project there are some problems after the Second world war - especially politi-cal, cultural and ethnic transformations in the years 1945 or 1946. Other questions are solved in that project, which were not elaborated or very little. For example: František Rajman, who was the chairman of the city (1945 to 1946), perpetrated the suicide. The representation of the political parties in the government of the city and the district. In the attachment there are a lot of photos, tables, maps and articles.

Christ the high priest of the new covenant

RESUMÉ Kristus, velekněz Nové Smlouvy. Cílem této práce je seznámit čtenáře s problematikou kněžství z biblického hlediska především s pravýma jediným kněžstvím Kristovým podle Listu Židům. Práce je rozdělena do čtyř základních okruhů. V prvním se zabýváme kněžstvím tak, jak ho předkládá Starý Zákon, tedy kněžstvím židovským, které se ukáže jako nedokonalý předobraz kněžství Kristova. Stručně je zde zpracován vývoj SZ kněžských tříd a jsou představeny nejdůležitější předobrazy novozákonního kněžství, tedy osoby Melchizedecha, Mojžíše a Áróna. V druhé části je zkoumáno kněžství podle Nového Zákona. Zvlášť u synoptiků, u sv. Pavla a sv. Jana a nakonec v Listu Židům. Je zde zařazen přehled, který ukazuje, jakým způsobem je v jednotlivých knihách NZ užíván pojem kněz či kněžství obecně. Z něj vyplývá, jakým směrem se bude ubírat další zkoumání, totiž pozornost už zcela obrátíme na Kristovo kněžství, které je představeno pouze v listu Židům. Pro uvedení do souvislostí je v této části čtenář seznámen se strukturou a teologickým obsahem celého listu Židům. Práce vrcholí třetím okruhem, kde je podrobně rozpracována teologie hlavní části listu Židům. Jde o kněžskou christologii stojící na biblickém základě.
