MUDr. Jaroslav Pejchal, Ph.D. et Ph.D. Title of diploma thesis: Changes of internal organs after percutaneous exposure to sulfur mustard Sulfur mustard is a chemical warfare agent belonging to the group of blistering agents. The theoretical section of the thesis is mainly focused on the description of acute toxic effects, the mechanism of action, and deals with the current possibilities of poisoning therapy. The experimental section is focused on monitoring the effect of sulfur mustard poisoning in the liver, lung, and kidney of female C57BL/6J mice after the percutaneous administration. This work aimed to evaluate markers of oxidative stress and histopathological changes of the selected organs at 3, 5, and 7 days after the poisoning. Ferric reducing antioxidant power (FRAP) and thiobarbituric acid reactive substances (TBARS) methods were used to determine markers of oxidative stress. Histopathological changes were evaluated microscopically using the hematoxylin-eosin staining method. The airness of the lung parenchyma was also assessed by computer image analysis. The bachelor thesis Proposal of GRI Standards for a small industrial company is thesis which processing for enterprise., which is from category small and medium enterprises. The main goal is creating report and evaluate if this methodics is correct for this particular company and what can offer surroundings up. In the theoretical part is approched the corporate social responsibility concept and ways of creating reports from this field. More text is devoted to the GRI methodology, which is crucial for this thesis and the emphasis is on the history of this methodology, how was originated and how it gradually changed to its present form. It is explained the functioning of social responsibility in small enterprises, how it differs from large and on what principles does it work. Results part is focused directly on the selected company, an introduction to various activities, functioning, and routing of the company. Based on this information is created the report. It is based on the company's strategy, as well as a modified SWOT analysis that it is adapted to the needs of reporting in small and medium-sized enterprises. It concludes with recommendations for the future and a proposal to improve, in this case put options to the reporting enterprise may move further. It was found that small enterprise can generate reports according to GRI methodology. Must be properly set goals and procedure must be elected on the basis of available information. The enterprise may be advised to monitor data from areas in which they act, but they do not monitored. For communications with stakeholders the report is sufficient.

Šulová, V. Corporate Social Responsibility in Tourism. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2019. The main goal of the diploma thesis "Social Responsibility in Tourism" is to propose a CSR strategy for tourism companies specifically for accommodation facilities. The first part consists of the discussion of alternative approaches and perspectives, the analysis of professional literature and research in this field and the comparison of the results and opinions of individual parties. This section will mainly help to better focus on this issue, compare different views, and portray key CSR and sustainable development challenges faced by businesses in the sector. Qualitative and quantitative research shows that in the area of accommodation facilities it is necessary to distinguish between large enterprises and small and medium-sized enterprises when assessing social responsibility activities. Large businesses have an active approach to these activities and are committed to them, and in the further development it is important to focus on reporting their results. Small and medium-sized enterprises are passive in social responsibility activities, and if they do business as part of their normal operations, the main reason is the lack of information about the whole issue and the possibilities of developing this area.

Inquiry based teaching matematics

This diploma thesis briefly introduces the concept of inquiry based teaching mathematics. In inquiry based teaching, emphasis is placed primarily on the active activity of the pupil, the aim of which is to discover a certain reality. This activity mainly involves solving problems and finding the right paths to achieve the right goal. We can call this path to a goal as a research. The inquiry process involves observing, formulating questions, identifying information, designing possible processes, and verifying them. In this educational method, the role of the teacher is not to pass the facts to the pupils, but to target them and to supervise the correctness of their practices. We can understand the teacher here as a guide, adviser or assistant on the path to the goal (discovery). In the thesis a few examples of mathematics of elementary and secondary schools are given, in which the inquiry based approach is applied. Mathematics in the given examples is not complicated, emphasis is put on the practical use. In the examples interdisciplinary relationships are developed as well, which is an important part of the inquiry based teaching. In each example, additional questions are provided.
