BIKEZONE.cz - Bikeshop with flats

The aim of the diploma thesis „BIKEZONE.CZ – bikeshop with flats“ is development of detailed documentation to build the bikeshop with flats for permanent living for sixty person on the land number 337/4, in the city named Hradec Králové – Kukleny. The building is designed with the master plan and the surrounding construction and appropriately mounted on the adjacent intersection. The building is designed as a four-floors, partial basement with two-floors bikeshop with own service and the flat part with seventeen flats of the size two or three bedrooms with kitchen. Next to building are designed two car parkings with capacity for 25 cars. The main entrance to the shop is from the street Pražská třída where is a parking for customers a the main entrace to the flat house is from the street Pálenecká. The supporting part will consist of a combination of sand-lime bricks KM BETA and monolithic ceiling and column. The non-supporting part will of sand-lime bricks KM BETA. The roof is flat with a waterproofing membrane of flexible PVC surcharge laundered gravel. Insulation of the building envelope will contact system ETICS terminated blending facade of dark and light gray colors. Doors and windows are wooden with golden oak color shade.

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to propose and process design documentation for the construction of a detached house in Horní Brusnice. The building is located on plot no. 1738/4 in cadastre unit Horní Brusnice (Trutnov District). The house is situated in urban area, on the investor's undeveloped plot. A district road (class II.) runs close to the plot. The design of the house takes into account the local zoning plan and the surrounding buildings in the street. The design documentation has been prepared in accordance with the applicable laws, ordinances and norms. This project represents the construction of a two-storey detached house on a sloping plot. The greater part of the ground floor is below ground level. The profile of the building is irregular, with a warm flat roof. The type of structural system is masonry and wall, made of sand-lime bricks. The house is designed as one dwelling unit of 4+kk type (3 bedrooms and living room with an open plan kitchen) for residence of 4 people, where the first floor is designed as a living area and the ground floor is used for technical utilities. The garage in the ground floor is operationally connected with the interior

Bachelors thesis is focused on design and elaboration of design documentation of single-family house in Kučerov, the parcel number 366. Proposition of house has respect both commune plan and current street buildings. It is not supposed to create stress with its shape and size but to complete actual building. It has one elevated floor and built-in attic, saddle roof, it is cellarless. It is divided into two parts, first one for craft production, second one for living, also extended into the whole attic.

This bachelor thesis deals with processing of a specific part of a project documentation for a family house construction. This object is situated on a slope in a village Voděrady near Rychnov nad Kněžnou, belonging to Královéhradecký region. The family house is designed as a two-floor one, intended for a four-member family. Vertical constructions are from KM BETA SEDWIX system. The roof construction above the living quarter is made of a saddle roof with a slope of 38°. One part of the house is a garage for one car. The roof above the garage is made of one envelope flat roof.
Wooden family house on a slope

Bachelor thesis deals with design of a wooden family house in the hillside. The house is a two-storey building with “L-shaped” floor plan, covered by the gabled roof. The house is designed for four-member family. The residential part is in the first floor. In the lower part, technical rooms are situated including a garage for two cars. Combination of two building systems was used in the design. The basement is built of concrete bricks by KB-BLOK. On top of lower part, a wooden structure is constructed, made of CLT panels produced by NOVATOP company. The advantage of this system is the construction speed. Resulting design is a modern building fitting in the neighbourhood.
Yacht Club Hlucin

The aim of this study is the design of Yacht club. The building is situated on a building estate No. 1303/3 of the Kozmice land registry in the recreational premises at the lakefront of „Hlučínské jezero“. It is placed next to the flooding line which is also considered in the project. The building is divided into three operational parts – the hotel, the catering establishments (restaurant) and the area primarily destined for holding conferences and workshops. The hotel is designed to accommodate thirty-two people, the capacity of restaurant is forty-two and conferential area is suitable for forty people at the most. Yacht club is designed as four-storey building with a flat grassed-covered roof. With regard to the foundation conditions, the building is found on piles. The structural part of walls is partly from CLT panels and partly from reinforced concrete which increase the stiffness of the building. The external cladding of the hotel consists of wooden blocks creating ventilated facade, while the rest of the building is rendered.

The thesis deals with the design of a new wooden log house serving as family house located in the cadastral area of the Horní Bečva village. House foundation are in slope terrain. It is a stand-alone, two-story design with partial basement designated for a four-member family. The building is divided into 3 parts according to the floors, namely they are 1st floor – living area, 2nd floor - resting area and 1.S - non-residential area. The ground beam foundation type is used. The vertical load-bearings are made of solid wooden logs. The walls are insulated from the interior of the house. The ceiling structure consist of solid wooden beams. The building has a saddle roof with a 45 ° inclination angle and saddle dormers on the north and south side. The main entrance is placed in the northeastern part of the building. The building interior is architecturally designed from natural materials such as stone and wood. Overall, the design has touch of classic log house in combination with modern elements and technologies. The design of the house fits into the landscape environment of the Beskydy Protected Landscape Area and meets the requirements of the given administration.

The bachelor thesis was developed as a project for building construction based on the studio work of 3rd semester. Sheep farm building is a komplex of free interconnected buildings, divided according to their functions (accomodation, restaurant, production, sheepfold). The complex of buildings is a designed from ecological materials (wooden building) due to its location and purpose. The base of architectural and constructional design is simplicity, functionality and practicality.
Wooden Family House

This bachelor thesis deals with design of wooden house for family of four people. The house has the basement partly above ground level with parking lots for two cars, ground floor and an attic rooms for family members. Basement floor is made of BEST brand concrete blocks and permanent formwork. Above ground floor, both floors are made as a timber structure, constructed from CLT panels produced by NOVATOP company. On the top of the house is the gabled roof that is matching and fitting the neighbourhood. Object is shielded by timber cladding together with fiber-cemented boards, that create an ventilated facade.
Apartment house Mája

The bachelor's thesis deals with the design of a new apartment building on the outskirts of Týniště nad Orlicí. It is a four-storey apartment building with a basement. There are 14 residential units in the building, to which there is a separate cellar designed in the basement. On the ground floor, two barrier-free apartments are designed for people with reduced mobility. The floor plan is designed from two rectangles arched into each other. The building is based on foundation strips at a non-freezing depth. The vertical load-bearing structures of the above-ground floors are made of ceramic blocks, the underground floor is lined with lost formwork. The vertical load-bearing structures are finished with a reinforced concrete wall wreath. The horizontal structures between the individual floors of the apartments are designed from prestressed spiroll panels. A monolithic ceiling slab is designed in the common corridor. The building is covered with a flat single-skin roof.
