Dream Journals
Silný, Ondřej ; Dočkal, Petr (referee) ; Šrámek, Jan (advisor)
Dream Journals is an art installation which is reflecting my dream world. Long term collected text notes are my thematic fragments for finding a found footage videos. The selection is based on visual similarities and atmosphere. These videos are combined with textures and found sounds. A spectator can't see clean digital image but he's looking through transparent material. The fact that video has not defined start and end amplifies dream aesthetics.
Minimizing errors in the alignment of the CAD model to the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)
Miko, Jan ; Marek, Tomáš (referee) ; Šrámek, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on the issue of alignment of measured data to nominal data in the field of metrology - measurement and evaluation of longitudinal dimensions, angles and tolerances of position and shape. The beginning of the work deals with the division of individual types of coordinate measuring machines and various data scanning technologies. The next section describes the measurement process, and especially in what ways the mea-surement can be performed. In the analysis of the use of methods for the alignment of nomi-nal data on a CAD model when measuring on a CMM, the individual methods of alignment are classified and described. The most common defects caused by alignment to a CAD mo-del are covered in the entire chapter, which describes what causes individual defects in most cases. The main part of the bachelor thesis is the study of measurements. In this study, the evaluation of outputs that were obtained after measuring and balancing the measured data on the CAD model of the reference part is processed. The alignment is performed by four diffe-rent methods. Subsequently, the individual methods were compared and the errors that occurred during the alignment were analyzed. In the last part of the work, a statistical evalu-ation of the measurement and determination of the measurement uncertainty is performed on the basis of the measured deviations of the positions of the assessed geometric elements, which occurred on the reference part. At the end of the thesis, the individual outputs that were obtained during the elaboration of the individual goals of the bachelor's thesis and the recommended methods of alignment for a specific application are evaluated.
Capability assessment of a optical measuring instrument
Slíž, Michal ; Šrámek, Jan (referee) ; Jankových, Róbert (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the capability assessment of an optical coordinate measuring machine according to VDA 5. The capability assessment is an effective tool for deciding whether the evaluated measuring machine is capable for the intended use and under which conditions its use is possible. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to the analysis of coordinate measuring machines, with a closer focus on a subset of optical measuring machines and the analysis of their capability assessment procedures. In the practical part of the thesis, the selected procedure is applied on the specific measuring machine Micro-Vu Sol 311. The main contribution of this thesis is a description of the possibilities of the considered coordinate measuring machine for its further use in the educational process at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of Brno University of Technology.
Determining the measurement accuracy of a coordinate measuring machine Zeiss UPMC Carat
Kiška, Roman ; Jankových, Róbert (referee) ; Šrámek, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to create a comprehensive study of measurement accuracy of coordinate measuring machine (hereinafter CMM) Zeiss UPMC 850 Carat S-ACC (hereinafter Zeiss Carat) for the needs of the national metrological institute in Brno in accordance with ČSN EN ISO / IEC 17025 and the follow-up system standards of the ČSN EN ISO 10360 series. Additionally, it includes the creation of instructions for the calculation of measurement uncertainty, which will be put into effect in an accredited calibration laboratory. The first part of the work focuses on the description of the current state of knowledge and the definition of basic concepts in the field of metrology and accurate measurements on CMM. The second part describes the Zeiss Carat measuring machine, identifies the individual contributors to the resulting measurement uncertainty and defines the methodology for their quantification. The last part deals with the evaluation of calibration data and the calculation of the expanded measurement uncertainty of the Zeiss Carat instrument, which is used to quantify its accuracy.
Slovak Stations
Fábryová, Veronika ; Viazanička Ján, Mgr. art (referee) ; Šrámek, Jan (advisor)
Bachelors thesis maps architecture of slovakian train stations. Using medium of photographic document work focuses on interiors of the stations and points out to the architecture of socialistic era in Slovakia.
Utilisation of Renishaw optical encoder system for sensors and comparators
Pavliš, Jakub ; Šrámek, Jan (referee) ; Jankových, Róbert (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the description of selected optical systems in length metrology. The main benefit of this work is the design and implementation of a sensor with the VIONiCplus optical system and the application of this measuring system to length comparators. The work contains experimental verification of the use of an optical system with a resolution of 2.5 nm for sensors and length comparators with recommendations for practical use.
Checking the accuracy of bending of the material in sheet metal bending machines VanMark
Fara, Michael ; Jankových, Róbert (referee) ; Šrámek, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with surface forming methods, especially accuracy and measurement of sheet metal bending on Van Mark brakes. The aim of the work was to make bends of samples in the range of 30 °, 60 °, 90 ° and 120 °. The size of the bend of the examined samples is influenced by the suspension of the sheet, which is not taken into account in the currently used type of protractor. The samples were then analyzed on two types of measuring devices - tactile and optical. After measuring, results were evaluated and plotted in the appropriate graphs. Based on the measurement results, a new type of protractor was designed, which will make the user's work easier and more efficient.
Accreditation audit in a testing laboratory according to ČSN EN ISO/IEC 17025: 2018
Kallerová, Barbora ; Maradová, Karla (referee) ; Šrámek, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the elaboration of a comprehensive internal audit proposal in testing laboratories for the needs of a Czech company engaged in the production of cleaning products. The aim of the work is to describe the current state in the selected testing laboratory in comparison with the standard ČSN EN ISO / IEC 17025: 2018, including complete documentation determining the scope of the testing laboratory. Subsequently, an internal audit was prepared and carried out, including the preparation of internal audit reports, evaluation and implementation of the conclusions of the testing laboratory. the resulting overview can serve testing laboratories as assistance in preparing for the accreditation audit according to the standard ČSN EN ISO / IEC 17025: 2018.
Measurement and evaluation of the inserts using an optical scanner
Vanek, Richard ; Šrámek, Jan (referee) ; Marek, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on problematics of scanning damaged press dies by an optical 3D scanner. The bachelor thesis starts with a description of 3D scanning, its use in various branches of industry as well as defects that can occur during scanning. This work provides an overview of the methods of 3D scanning and 3D scanners. Another part of the bachelor thesis deals with the procedure of scanning a damaged press die using the optical scanner STEINBICHLER COMET LED 5M followed by processing the acquired data and creating a 3D CAD model. In the final part, the bachelor thesis focuses on comparing and evaluating the obtained data.
Digital Climate II.
Sidlárová, Kristýna ; Jansa, Jakub (referee) ; Šrámek, Jan (advisor)
In the diploma thesis Digital Climate II. I'm dealing with the representation of the relationship between physical and virtual matter. The final presentation will take place via video installation in a non-gallery environment. In the work process, I record my own experience of gradual work with the processes of influencing the physical mass of ceramic clay and virtual mass software interfaces. The subject of the work is a remediation of physical ceramic material, whose raw materiality is supported by its absence of glaze or any other noble surface treatment, which could be considered a certain metaphor of today, beautifying AR face filters on social media, Photoshop and unattainable standards of beauty and falsely promoted products.
