This bachelor thesis addresses plant-soil interactions through plant litter and living roots, compares the effects of plants with a competitive and conservative resource management strategy on soil and ecosystem functioning. The literature review is followed by a proposal for a scientific project aimed at increasing knowledge of the rhizosphere processes of competitive and conservative species and testing the validity of the hypothesis that competitive species affect their environment more intensively than conservative species.
Risk perception and attitudes towards risk of young scouts from European countries

Title: Risk perception and attitudes towards risk of young scouts from European countries. Objectives: The aim of the study was to find out differences of risk perception and attitudes towards risk between young scouts from European countries. Methods: The questionnaire was filled by 126 young scouts from 18 European countries. Asked scouts were in Rover and Rangers categories, aged 16 to 25. The research sample consisted of 66 men and 60 women. Questionnaires Risk orientation questionnaire were analysed by basic statistic methods like median and mean. Specific comparison was made by Pearson coefficient and factor analysis. The aim of their using was to compare parts of the questionnaire (sex, countries, similarity of answers). For some comparison were chosen only countries with more respondents (≥ 9). Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, and Denmark were joined up to one category Scandinavia. Results: There are no significant results shown by mean and median for countries with respondents (≥ 9). Small variances were qualified only for the Czech Republic, Germany and Portugal. Title: Destroying of rocky shapes caused by climbing Objectives: The main aim of this bachelor thesis is find out a rate and type of damage sandstone rocky shapes casused by climbing. This bachelor thesis is also engaged in climbing and its relationship to nature conservation in the snadstone landscapes. Methods: For the theoretic part of this bachelor thesis was used a method of analysis of documents and available literature. For the research section of this thesis has been carried out field research in choosen districts by observation and taking a photographs of type of damage sandstone rocky shapes. Results: We found out a shapes and rate of damage sandstone rocky shapes in choosen districts. The rate of damage of sandstone rocky shapes depends on the rate of climbing. We also found out that damage of sandstone rocky shapes are influenced by other sports and recreational activities.
