Collecting fees for the removal and other disposal of communal waste
Řeháček, Martin ; Vondráčková, Pavlína (advisor) ; Kohajda, Michael (referee)
The aim of the thesis is to describe effective legislation that regulates collecting fees for removal and other disposal of municipal waste organised by municipalities. There are used also various socioeconomic approaches and the thesis seeks for the best solution how to collect the fees for the service. The study is mainly focused on Municipal Fees Act and its regulations because they cause most of problems in practice. Author's opinion is that such a regulation is completely wrong. According to the author of the thesis, there were found features of The Tragedy of the Commons theory in the regulations which means in practice that the whole system is going to either collapse or cost even more money to be kept. The next negative of the legislation is the possibility to circumvent paying the fees. Then, it was proved in the study that the main principle which is the legislation built on, does not work in practice. The principle is that costs paid for the removal and other disposal of municipal waste are supposed to be equivalent to a number of inhabitants living in a town. Because of an absolute personal principle, it was also described in the thesis that minors become debtors when they turn 18 because of their irresponsible parents who do not pay the fees for them. It was recognized in the thesis...
Loose one's footing: possibilities of counseling of transformation identity of apostates from Faith Movement (Word of Life)
Řeháček, Martin ; Vojtíšek, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Hošek, Pavel (referee)
Loose one's footing: possibilities of counseling of transformation identity of apostates from Faith Movement (Word of Life). The aim of this work is to introduce the issue of apostates from the Faith Movement, particularly from the church Word of Life. The theoretic presentation of the problem of apostasy from the New Religious Movement based on the theory of social construction of reality and on the personal experience of the author is followed by the presentation of the model of apostasy process. The transitional role of apostate, who finds himself in an uneasy situation between two worlds - the one that is being leaved and the one that is newly accepted - represents a base for further understanding to the process of the transformation of the apostate's identity. The second part of the work comprises the analysis of the concrete problems of the apostates, based on the research, that tries to suggest some of the possible ways of support focused on this target group. Keywords New Religious Movement, Faith Movement, apostasy, defection, defector, faith development, leaving care, change of identity, group identity, resocialization
CzechTek 2005. Media, power and techno culture
Řeháček, Martin ; Šanderová, Jadwiga (advisor) ; Bayer, Ivo (referee)
CzechTek music festival was one of the most significant exposures of rave or techno culture in our country. In 2005, the police struck against ravers and forcibly ended the party. In this paper, I strive to find out how the three biggest Czech daily newspapers - MF Dnes, Právo and Blesk - dealt with this situation by using quantitative content analysis. In the first part, I inquire into theoretical basis related to techno culture and mass media. I describe the history and the milestones of CzechTek, the origin of techno and the bonding between techno culture and neotribalism. The chapter on mass media deals with Marshall McLuhan's ideas, the definition of mass media, analytical traditions, the connection between media and politics and also the standing of individual newspapers. Methodological passage is about the construction of sample and variables, and the description of content analysis method. The analysis is devided into four parts, in which I study different time periods and observe how media perceived and handled CzechTek 2005.
Analysis of selected chemical parameters of Temelín Nuclear Power Plant primary circuit coolant
ŘEHÁČEK, Martin
The aim of the thesis was to define the meaning of radiochemical processes which take place in coolant of the primary circuit of the Nuclear Power Plant; and to describe the way of measurement of chemical parameters. The second aim was to define the significance of dissolved hydrogen to compensate for corrosion-threatening corrosion-safe operation of plant and to describe the method of generating hydrogen by ammonia. The third aim was to investigate the time courses of ammonia and hydrogen concentrations within the two production units. The last aim was to investigate unilateral dependence between ammonia and hydrogen concentrations. The first two aims were met by using system analysis of coolant chemical parameters, methods of measuring them, and ongoing radiochemical processes in the coolant. Ammonia and hydrogen were selected for deeper investigation, because of the results of the analysis. H1, H2 and H3 hypotheses have been formulated to meet the other two aims. The H1 hypothesis was used to verify the empirical distribution of ammonia and hydrogen concentration measurements by non-parametric normality testing. Hypothesis H2 investigated the time dependence of ammonia and hydrogen concentrations by regression analysis. In case of verification of H3 hypothesis the method of regression and correlation dependency was used. The verifying of hypothesis has shown that the empirical distribution of the measurement of hydrogen and ammonia concentrations is more closely related to the theoretical normal distribution. Furthermore, it was verified that the linear regression function of the time dependence of ammonia and hydrogen concentration measurements is close to the parallel to the timeline during the fuel campaign. Linear regression and correlation analysis confirmed that the correlation between hydrogen and ammonia concentrations is similar on both blocks and close to strong positive correlation. Verification of required regressive and correlative bending between ammonia and generated hydrogen can be understood as a practical contribution.

An assessment of interferences influence on tritium volume activities measurement in liquid discharges of Temelin NPP
ŘEHÁČEK, Martin
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the importance of selected disturbance effects on the accuracy of tritium determination in wastewater by means of liquid scintillation spectrometry. The thesis studies three disturbance effects: the pH of the sample, the UV radiation illumination of the sample and increased background in sample measurement caused by samples containing beta and gamma radiation emitting radionuclides placed inside the analyzer. The TriCarb 2910TR measuring analyzer and Ultima Gold XR scintillation cocktail were used for the study. Four samples with the following tritium volume activity were prepared for the study: < 3,7 Bq/l, 199,1 +- 4.1 Bq/l, 20 298,2 +- 73,5 Bq/l and 2 659 078,8 +- 6555,2 Bq/l. Each sample was influenced by disturbance effects of increasing intensity. For the experiment with the pH effect, a set of 12 samples with a pH ranging from 1 to 12 was prepared. For the illumination of samples, a room illuminated with fluorescent lamps, which are also a source of UV radiation besides visible radiation, was used. To examine the effect of increased background, three samples containing isotopes of caesium 134Cs and 137Cs emitting beta and gamma rays were prepared. Each sample was gradually affected by these disturbance factors and measured ten times. The measured data were statistically processed and evaluated. The conducted experiment and the statistical processing of the results, taking into account the accuracy of the instrument, revealed that the disturbance effects of the increased background of beta and gamma radiation and UV light exposure only have a significant effect on samples with very low tritium activity. In samples with high tritium activity, this effect is insignificant. The examination of the effect of the pH confirmed that the scintillation cocktail used showed satisfactory stability of the efficiency of the conversion of beta radiation to photons in the pH range of 2-12.

Recognition in virtual space : critical theory in the age of internet
Řeháček, Martin ; Dvořák, Tomáš (advisor) ; Holeček, Tomáš (referee)
The concept of recognition in the social sciences has occured since the time of Hegel and works as a category referring to the intersubjective aspect of life. Axel Honneth, the representative of the new critical theory, builds on Hegel and develops a new concept of recognition, which would meet today's demands for improved conditions of existence. They are now also determined by the new media at the forefront of the Internet and social networks. In the first part of my thesis I dealt with Hegel's concept of recognition, the relationship between master and servant and technology and nature. Then I went on with a performance of critical theory, its foundations, and with the representatives and the factors that could lead to emancipation. Consequently I concerned with the theory of Axel Honneth that seeks to advance critical thinking in a new era. The section on the new media dealt with changes that occured in the process of transition to electronic reality. I analyzed influence of television, computer technology, internet and social networking on social reality and its potential in relation to increasing recognition in the society.
