Working conditions of women providing paid sexual services in the Czech Republic, with concentration on the clients of nongovernmental organization "Bliss without risk" working in the Prague sex clubs

Bachelor work "Working conditions of women providing paid sexual services in the Czech Republic, with concentration on the clients of nongovermental organization (NGO) Rozkoš bez Rizika (Bliss without risk) working in the Prague sex clubs", concerns about female prostitution from the point of view of working conditions and takes notice of some respective influencing factors. The thesis reffers about different sights on problems of commercial sex, taking the view points from unordinary directions; effort of recognition of work with the aim to get the same working conditions, rights and protection, like in any other work areas, and on the other hand, describing commercial sex as violence against women, that can not be considered as work itself. It takes insight to the spheres of social work in relation to individuals, who offer paid sexual services. More further, areas that can be included in working condition of sexual workers and some factors that can influence these conditions are described. One of the important factors is the government policy regarding prostitution, where contemporary and proposed legislation impact at working conditions, is considered. Minor mothers in the Romani communities

The bachelor thesis "Minor mothers in the Romani communities" addresses the phenomenon of minor mothers in the traditional Romani community. More generally, the demographic behavior of the Romanies is analyzed, and discussed with respect to the overall demographic data valid for the population of the Czech Republic. This thesis and its conclusions are based on the author's own research performed in Poschlá, a suburb of the city of Vsetín. The Romani community in Vsetín is introduced, including notes on its history. It is pointed out that the community still exhibits remarkable respect to the outstanding role of the typical extended family structure, which significantly influences the demographic behavior of the community. The author also notes fundamental differences concerning the mean lifespan of the Romanies versus the majority population, by which the typical early timing and extension of the female reproduction period can be explained naturally. Such conclusions are justified by the author's own research dealing with three overlapping generations of the Romani mothers in Vsetín, with focus on their age at the time of their first delivery. The thesis also discusses various aspects of social work and its efficiency regarding the issues related to minor mothers and their families.

Téma své diplomové práce jsem zvolila s ohledem na aktuálnost problematiky, kterou se zabývá. Práce vychází z faktu, že poškozený má v rámci trestního řízení stále nerovné postavení, ačkoliv je jednou ze stran trestního řízení. Státním subjektem, který se na tuto situaci snaží reagovat a "usiluje o zprostředkování účinného a společensky prospěšného řešení konfliktů spojených s trestnou činností" s ohledem na zájmy a potřeby obou stran trestního konfliktu, včetně společnosti je Probační a mediační služba České republiky (PMS). (Výroční zpráva, 2006, s. 5) Dle mých zkušeností, které jsem získala na odborných stážích na střediscích PMS, však spolupráce pracovníků Probační a mediační služby s oběťmi trestných činů (oběťmi) nedosahuje žádoucí intenzity a frekvence. Aktuálnost potřeby zlepšení podpory obětí dokazuje i fakt, že zmiňované téma je již čtvrtým rokem jednou z priorit PMS. Proto dané téma považuji za důležité a aktuální. Diplomová práce má dvě části - teoretickou a výzkumnou. Hlavním cílem diplomové práce je zmapovat aktuální stav odborné praxe pracovníků Probační a mediační služby vyvíjené ve vztahu k obětem trestných činů v rámci základních odborných agend. School children and their contact with marihuana and tobacc

in english The goal of this bachelor thesis was to research the contact and relationship of older age students with smoking tobacco and marijuana products. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and empirical. In the theoretical part of the thesis I identified and characterized the goal group of the study, primary school students. Other terms that are defined and discussed in the thesis are at risk groups, addictive substances, addiction and the prevention of risky behavior. The empirical part of the thesis contains my own research. The data that was collected was obtained through a questionnaire completed by 7th, 8th and 9th grade students at 4 primary schools in the Ústecký region of Czech Republic. Through the questionnnaire I was able to identity the availability of addictive substances to primary school students; the comparison of children living in the city versus village and their different experiences using addictive substances, and the comparison of experiences between students that have regularly scheduled hobbies and those that have none. Comparative study of protection models for victims of trafficking in human beings

Téma této práce jsem si zvolila především na základě mých profesních zkušeností. S jevem obchodování s lidmi, resp. obchodování s lidmi za účelem sexuálního vykořisťování jsem se setkala již za své praxe v nevládní organizaci Česká společnost AIDS pomoc. Již v té době ve spolupráci s organizací Rozkoš bez rizika jsem měla v péči klientku, která na území našeho státu přicestovala z Ukrajiny za prací a později byla nucena pracovat v sex průmyslu. V té době však nebyla zdaleka propracovaná koncepce státu, jak v takových případech postupovat. V rámci zaměstnání na Správě uprchlických zařízení jsem pak jako vedoucí oddělení metodiky sociální práce připravila se svými kolegy projekt, který měl v rámci Národní strategie proti obchodování s lidmi za účelem sexuálního vykořisťování informovat o nebezpečí, kterému může být žena vystavena. Tento projekt byl nazván ANNA a jeho cílovou skupinou byly žadatelky o udělení azylu, zvláště pak samostatné ženy. V rámci koordinační skupiny ministerstva vnitra jsem pak jako zástupce Správy uprchlických zařízení, později odboru azylové a migrační politiky připomínkovala celou strategii. V rámci těchto setkání jsem se seznámila se zástupci všech zúčastněných subjektů a to jak ze státní správy, tak nevládních organizací.

The systems of prevention of drugs in Galacia focused on primary prevention of alcoholism of young people

Pití alkoholu je mezi mládeží a bohužel i dětmi častou a oblíbenou zábavou. Během cesty veřejným dopravním prostředkem se stačí zaposlouchat do rozhovoru mladých lidí. V barvitém líčení zážitků z uplynulého víkendu nás m nohdy udiví četnost slova alkohol a pojmů s ním souvisejících. Dovídáme se kolik alkoholu dotyční dospívající vypili, ja ký druh (nám často neznámý), ja k jim bylo špatně, ale také ja k si to perfektně užili. Upoutat nás může i tón důležitosti a dospělosti v jejich hlasech. Pití alkoholu navíc umocňuje tolerance a nepřím á podpora ze strany společnosti. Zarážející je i nevšímavost rodičů. Samozřejmě, souvisí to také s tím, že v naší společnosti je nyní aktuální nealkoholová, resp. drogová problem atika, která potíže s alkoholem odsouvá na vedlejší kolej. Pro mnohé rodiče, ale i pedagogy je dostačující fakt, že dítě nezneužívá drogy. Pití alkoholu je považováno za "norm ální" .

It describes subjects, that can influence a housing policy. It describes other factors of origin social excluded localities. It focus on social work with social excluded people. The work thinks over using method of individual social work or social work with comunnities in social excluded location and if Romany social worker can work better with Romany clients than majority social worker. The work describes social excluded localities in the town Chomutov in the practical part of work. It maps housing policy of the town Chomutov and its influence on origin or restriction social excluded localities. It takes notice of a social services, that help social excluded people and people in housing presure.

The thesis is focused on the experience of 6th and 9th elementary school classes with risk behavior in Dvůr Králové nad Labem. The theoretical part defines terms related to adolescence, risk behavior and prevention. This part also deals with procedures in the occurence of the risk behavior in elementary school. The practical part presents the results of own empirical investigation and bears the signs of a quantitative research. The aim of the research was to determine to which extent second grades students in Dvůr Králové nad Labem have personal experience in the risk behavior. The method of data collection tool was a questionnaire. The results of the research will be beneficial in the prevention of risk behavior in primary schools in Dvůr Králové nad Labem.

Gypsy and employment

Ve své bakalářské práci, která se věnovala Romům, jsem se zaměřila na jeden z největších problémů, který se týká tohoto etnika a tím je zaměstnanost. Lokalitu Litoměřice jsem zvolila z důvodu, že výsledky práce by v budoucnu mohly být využity zdejší pomáhající organizací Domem křesťanské pomoci - Bethel pro sestavení vzdělávacího programu. Volbou pracujících Romů jsem chtěla ukázat, že mezi Romy existuje celá řada odpovědných a pracovitých osob, které usilují o ekonomickou soběstačnost a nespoléhají na dávky sociálního systému. Hlavním cílem bylo zjistit, jaké mají tito lidé zkušenosti s pracovním trhem a v čem by uvítali pomoc. Pro svoji práci v romské komunitě jsem zvolila polořízené rozhovory. Cílovou skupinu pracujících Romů jsem vybírala namátkovým výběrem spojeným s metodou Snow sampling. Rozhovory probíhaly individuálně. Nikdy u nich nebyla přítomna třetí osoba. Tato práce ukázala, že pokud Romové z Litoměřic a okolí chtějí pracovat, nějaké zaměstnání není problém získat. Musí se však smířit s horší prací, než pro kterou mají schopnosti a kvalifikaci. Získat např. zaměstnání kuchaře nebo prodavačky je pro ně téměř nemožné. Současné zaměstnání našla větší část dotazovaných poměrně snadno a rychle. Migration, asylum seekers and asyllum policy in Czech Republic

Má práce s dětmi a mládeží uprchlíků mě přivedla k hlubšímu zájmu o problematiku uprchlictví. Již několik let se každodenně setkávám s problémy, které musí uprchlíci řešit a na druhé straně se každodenně setkávám s neznalostí uprchlické problematiky ze strany české společnosti. Rozhodla jsem se tedy pojmout svou práci informativně o aktuálním stavu azylové politiky České republiky a věcí s ní spojených. Zaměřila jsem se na popsání základních pojmů týkající se migrace a uprchlíků a na legislativní zajištění azylové politiky v České republice a Evropské unii a zjištění, nakolik daná legislativa funguje v praxi z pohledu uprchlíků. K získání informací z pohledu uprchlíků jsem použila metodu polostrukturovaného rozhovoru s dospělými uprchlíky, kteří prošli celou azylovou procedurou. Rozhovory probíhaly v domácím prostředí respondenta v českém jazyce. Respondenti mluvili zcela otevřeně, v tom mi pomohla moje předchozí a dlouhodobá spolupráce s nimi.
