Realization of Measurement System for Analogue Values with Memory

This bachelor's thesis deals with transfering analogue values to digital form. Measuring values are saved with the information about time of measurement into the memory and these are ready to processing in PC. The Measurement system is composited from the main digital circuit, which is connected to measuring channel. Whole designed circuit with program equipment is exactly described in this work.

This work deals with analysis of protocol APRS Automatic Positioning System for telemetry. There is analyzed the structure of the most important frames and their application. It discusses the processing of GPS data and subsequent modulation of the selected frequency. This work also describes and discusses the proposed peripheral devices and the used firmware.
Development of the climate during the Miocene based on the study of reptilian associations in northwest Bohemia

The PhD thesis is about fossil crocodiles and turtles from the Most basin and their implication in paleoclimatic and paleoecological reconstruction. The thesis is composed of accompanying text together with four separate scientific papers included in the attachment. Dozens of bony fragments, which belong to fossil crocodiles and turtles, are known from the Most basin (NW Bohemia, Czechia). Surprisingly, the high biodiversity of fossil turtles was revealed. According to a study of fossil crocodiles and turtles we are able to reconstruct the ancient landscape (i.e., ecosystems), mean annual temperatures together with the extremes in summer and winter periods. However, for the proper reconstruction of paleotemperatures, the taxonomic description is mandatory. Fossil crocodiles and turtles lack the systematic review, while they are in fact the most abundant material compared to other fossil vertebrates (i.e., mammals, birds, etc.). Crocodylian material belongs to the genus Diplocynodon and thanks to the cranial material from the Tušimice site, we are able to describe it as Diplocynodon ratelii. Lagomorpha (Mammalia) of the Pliocene and Pleistocene of Europe: a revision of selected taxa

1 Lagomorpha (Mammalia) pliocénu a pleistocénu Evropy: revize vybraných taxonů Stanislav Čermák Předkládaná dizertační (uznaná jako rigorózní) práce se zabývá vybranými taxony fosilních zajícovců (starobylá konzervativní skupina býložravých savců) úseku spodního pliocénu až spodního pleistocénu (ruscin - bihar) Evropy. Technikami podrobné morfometrické analýzy (42 metrických, 14 nemetrických znaků) byl zpracován fosilní materiál (většinou nový nepublikovaný) dentálních a kraniálních pozůstatků rodů Psedobellatona, Ochotonoma, Ochotona a Hypolagus (N = 639) celkem z 38 lokalit území Česka, Slovenska, Maďarska a Ukrajiny reprezentující stratigrafický úsek spodní ruscin až svrchní bihar (MN 14 - Q2). Concept of species in bears (Ursidae): practical, historical, and theoretical viewpoint

The present thesis surveys topic of taxonomic diversity and phylogeny of bears (Mammalia, Ursidae) and aspects of its contextual setting under effects of changing conceptual and methodological viewpoints. This problem is studied from several perspectives. The historical perspective is represented by a critical overview of the history of specific and infraspecific classification of bears with special respect to mutual influences of this classification and theoretical concepts of species accepted in particular periods. The perspective of material approach is exemplified by a material-based study of taxonomical and phyletic status of selected Pliocene to Middle Pleistocene ursine taxa. Along with deconstruction of some traditional hypotheses this produced a model explaining species diversification in ursine bears and its discussion in terms of factual relevance of included background concepts. In the pre-evolutionary period the bear species were usually understood broadly, as incipient immanent entities, yet exhibiting obvious certain infraspecific variability.
