Conditions of failures generation when bending profiled tubes
Fišar, Luboš ; Peterková, Eva (referee) ; Samek, Radko (advisor)
The thesis describes the knowledge from a round tube bending technology, as a description of conventional and unconventional devices. There are technological parameters in relation to the creation of defects, and equations for determining the bending moment. These knowledge has been generalized and applied to solution the changes of cross-section shape and thickness in the bending of square cross-section. The solution was implemented to specific component (20x2 mm steel tube with two successive radii R57,2 and R131,5). The results of experiments shows that the material is almost rigid-perfectly plastic, in the most stressed areas has a sufficient supply of material formability. Thickness measurement was applied to calculate the approximate center of gravity changes. This shows a shift of 1.4 mm, which is negligible value for the pure bending. The end of the thesis summarizes the deficiencies of current manufacturing technology, which used mandrel is inadequate, wrong located and poor lubrication.
Hole punching problematics of two layered sheet metal
Kvapil, Štěpán ; Peterková, Eva (referee) ; Císařová, Michaela (advisor)
The thesis is focussed on project of a tool – a hot working clipping punch, where the hole is punched in the upsetting ends of stabilizer. We talk about punching of a two layered semi-finished product, in which burr is formed at the layer interface, which is undesirable from the point of the customer requirement. The stabilizer is mounted in the car chassis, where it is fastened to the axle with screws. The literature study is focused on the theory and problems of punching. In the practical part, several design solutions of cutter faces are discussed, from which three types of face shape were selected. This was associated with a change in the design of the ejector. Two tool materials were selected for comparison. The cutters were tested on an automatic forming centre. Finally, after summarizing and evaluating all the practical experiments, an optimal solution of a tool designed for punching a hole with a two layered semi-finished product is proposed.
Processes of open-die and die forging
Tvrdoň, Radek ; Peterková, Eva (referee) ; Lidmila, Zdeněk (advisor)
The thesis presents a theoretical summary of forging processes. It deals with the selection of semi-finished product, machine and also forming processes for both types of forging. It explains the usability of open-die forging for making simple parts and die forging for more complex components. While solving the die forging, the thesis is extended with instructions for making a drawing of a forged piece, which nominal dimensions are extended by mentioned additions. The drawing is followed by explanation of procedure of creation a die cavity, which is different for presses and hammers. The thesis also describes the process of calculations of forging force and labor.
A proposal for improvement of arrangement of machinery and social facilities in the workshop complex
Janouškovec, Petr ; Peterková, Eva (referee) ; Štroner, Marek (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with technological design. The aim is to improve the layout of machinery on production areas and social facilities on auxiliary areas. The method of storage and material handling is also optimized. The thesis consists of a literature research, which explains selected concepts and basic procedures of technological design. The evaluation of the current state will present the workshop complex, its shortcomings and objects intended for improvement. The results of the capacity calculation made for the selected production representative are used as a basis for new designs. The new concepts of production workshops are focused on improving the production process in terms of the way machines are arranged, material handling and work safety. But also to improve the social and administrative background by optimizing day rooms, changing rooms and washrooms. The cost estimate for specific proposals and the selection of the most suitable variant form the final part.
Technology of sheet presswork in mass production
Spurný, Petr ; Peterková, Eva (referee) ; Žák, Ladislav (advisor)
The project elaborated within the Bachelor's work, branch B2341, submitting literary study of blanking technology of areal and volume materials. This work is specialized on general partition and short description of blanking technology. It describes common blanking, fine blanking, tube cutting and bar cutting.
Design of manufacturing technology for trackpoint part
Garguláková, Lucie ; Šlais, Miroslav (referee) ; Peterková, Eva (advisor)
The disertation is focused to the technology of fineblanking. It is concerned to a production of part, which will be used as a mechanism for changing the position of seats in cars. The expected production series is 800.000 pieces per year. With reference to the quantity and demanded quality and also accuracy of blank is choosed precisely technology of fineblanking process with pressure edge. The part will be produced on triple-action press produced by Feintool AG Lyss. It is press GKP – F 160 with mechanical-hydraulic drive. This press and specialy create blanking tool produces two blanks per one action.
Manufacturing of chain wheel for motorcycle
Šarocký, Robert ; Peterková, Eva (referee) ; Řiháček, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this thesis was to propose a suitable technology for the construction process of a chain wheel, which is one of the parts of the drivetrain of a motorcycle. The production series was 200 000 pieces per year. An analysis of several different construction processes was carried out and the process chosen as the most suitable was exact cutting with compression edge. The material of the product was a metal plate (8 x 1000 x 2000) mm 14 220.3, with the width 8 mm.Furthermore, a proposal of a cutting tool was conducted with drawn documentation. Based on the calculation of the required powers the manufacturing machine was chosen, more particularly the three way hydraulic press Feintool HFA 8800 plus. In the final phase, an assessment focused on the effectiveness of the production process was carried out with focus on both the technical and the economic standpoint.
Manufacturing of tubes by forming
Szczygiel, Pavel ; Peterková, Eva (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
This thesis deals with the basic methods of manufacture of tubes, especially focuses on the technology of seamless tubes. Assess the appropriateness and inappropriateness of individual production methods used and presents technology and types of lines used in practice. It describes in detail process of production seam pipes with a diameter of 116 mm and a length of 97 m in the plant ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Karviná a.s. Also describes in detail each operation in the working section of the strip preparation, welding and is reduced.
Forming of thin-walled tubes
Baránek, Tomáš ; Peterková, Eva (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
This work brings a synopsis of technologies used in the process of thin-walled tubes forming as well as their evaluation. There are various forming methods applied in order to achieve a required shape e.g. tube bending, radial tube tripping and tube forming. The bending is done by several means e.g. collaring, reeling and pressing. In the pipe bending operation the tube may get deformed. Thus there might occur the following bending defects e.g. wall thinning, excessive flattening, wrinkles in the bend, tube suspension. At the radial tube tripping may occur local tube tapering or tube diameter attenuation. Tube forming is dividend into inlet, outlet and flattening.
Production of subcomponent for the chassis ball joint
Liškář, Ladislav ; Peterková, Eva (referee) ; Lidmila, Zdeněk (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design of a technological process for the production a rotationally symmetrical component, which is part of the body for the chassis ball joint of a passenger car. Thesis was developed on request and in cooperation with THK RHYTHM Automotive Czech a.s. On the basis of a literary study, a technological process consisting of 10 operations was designed and elaborated. For the prototype production of the component, a four-column hydraulic press SHPFS 250, with a nominal force 2500 kN, was selected and price offer were prepared. For each of ten operations a prototype tool was designed and prepared assembly drawings. To reduce costs, a single die set was designed to allow all tools to be clamped. The total cost of acquisition of the prototype hydraulic press and tools was set at CZK 2,672,950.
