Group dynamics for a children's choir camp

The topic of my bachelor thesis falls within the field of leisure time pedagogy. It explores not only the relationships between the members of Sušice children's choir but also their development over time. In the theoretical chapters I focus on leisure education, play, summer camps and the Sušice children's choir. In the practical part I deal with the preparation and implementation of a summer camp with emphasis on group dynamics. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to observe and describe the progress of relationships within the members of SDS during the summer camp. Group dynamics will be described with the consideration of newcomers and their inclusion into the existing group. Based on interviews and observations, it is concluded that the choice of activities contributed to the development of group's relationships. Due to the composition of the teams and the choice of activities, the newcomers were successfully integrated into the existing group.
Communication between teaching staff and management at a particular primary school.

This thesis focuses on communication in a primary school between management and teaching staff. The theoretical part defines the concepts of communication, spoken communication, i.e. face-to-face meetings, telephone calls, meetings and written communication, i.e. e-mail communication. Furthermore, the concepts of school management and teaching staff are defined. The practical part describes the research sample of the selected primary school and further consists of a questionnaire survey to find out the type of communication prevalent in the school, its frequency and the preferences of the type of communication among the management and teaching staff. This was supplemented by semi-structured interviews, these were conducted with one respondent each from the respondent group i.e. one first grade teacher, one second grade teacher, one teaching assistant and one representative from the management. The survey revealed that the most preferred and also dominant form of communication was email communication, then face-to-face meeting was preferred, on the contrary, telephone call was not the preferred type of communication and there was a disagreement between the management and teaching assistants who were more comfortable with this type of communication with first and second grade teachers. The thesis deals with the profession and content of the work of a teaching assistant. In the theoretical part, the basic concepts of this profession and its anchoring in legislation are defined. Furthermore, in the theoretical part, the prerequisites for the performance of work in the position of teaching assistant, what his relationship with teachers, pupils and parents should be. There is also a chapter dedicated to explaining the concept of inclusion and its stabilization in Czech education. In the practical part, interviews with five teaching assistants from the first grade of the same school are recorded and analyzed. At the end of the work, the results of the interviews are summarized, the aim of which was to find out whether the teacher's assistants perform the work as prescribed by law, or whether they do something extra. The subject of investigation was also whether teaching assistants at a specific elementary school do less work than is specified in the legislation. The research shows that the teacher's assistants in the mentioned school have a job in accordance with the applicable laws. The cicrumstances leading to a childs placement into a specific children's school and possibilities of prevention of their risky behavior

The diploma thesis deals with the circumstances leading to the placement of children in a specific children's home with a school and the possibilities of preventing their risky behavior. The theoretical part presents an insight into risky behavior and institutional education. The practical part presents an analysis of the written documentation and life stories of the selected participants in order to determine the circumsances leading to their placement in a selected specific facility. It also presents the possibilities of education and prevention of risky behavior of individuals placed in this facility based on interview with pedagogical staff. The aim of the thesis is to present a comprehensive picture of the issues of institucional education related to a specific children's home with a school. The investigation concludes by finding that the circumstances for placement are consistent for each participant, as revealed by both the interview and documentation analysis. The role of the teacher assistant in the process of inclusive education in primary and secondary schools

This diploma thesis consists of the role of teaching assistant in an inclusive education in elementary and middle school. Theorethical part is devided into four parts and explains theorethical points. It discusses the position of the teaching assistant, the assistant's role in the education of pupils with and without special educational needs, the cooperation of the teaching assistant with other teachers and parents and last but not least about the pupils with special educational needs and their education. Empirical part is focused on the role of the teaching assistant in the process of an inclusive education in an selected elementary and middle school, in which it contains a qualitative study, which results in a situational study of the school. Semi- structured interviews were used in the research as well as observation and analysis of documents. The goal of this research is to analyse the work of teaching assistants at the selected school. The results of this research bring information about how the teaching assistant profession is perceived and used at this specific school. The diploma thesis can be used as an example of a good practice on how to use the teaching assistant in an inclusive education.
Cultural heritage education in selected programmes of the Archeoskanzen Březno

The thesis focuses on the development of a concrete proposal for categorizing the objectives of the activities that take place within the educational program of the Archeoskanzen Březno Living Prehistory. This proposal is preceded by the definition of those areas of pedagogy in which we classify museums in general and the educational programmes of archaeoskanzens in particular. An integral part of this work is also a general categorisation of educational objectives in terms of the framework educational programmes, their cross-cutting themes and educational areas, and in terms of taxonomies of objectives. In the proposed categorization of objectives, the objectives from these areas are categorized and defined in order to make the educational programs of the institution clearer for primary school teachers and to set appropriate conditions for the evaluation of these programs in the context of regular teaching. The thesis also includes an analysis of the submitted proposal, which was created in order to further clarify the expected objectives of the educational programs and to find areas with the potential to improve or increase the educational impact of the educational programs on primary school students.
