Conducting connections of ceramic with FR4 in 3D structure
Pelc, Miroslav ; Adámek, Martin (referee) ; Kosina, Petr (advisor)
This work deals with conductive connections ceramic substrate with FR4 into three – dimensional structure. High frequency amplifier was created on ceramic substrate as a concrete application, for check quality substrate on resulting behavior circuit. The supply voltage for this amplifier is provided by the DC voltage source developed for FR4. Further the thesis deals with quality verification of substances conductive connection and individual aspects, with affect resulting reliability of connection.
The conductive layers in LTCC
Poledník, Tomáš ; Psota, Boleslav (referee) ; Kosina, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis was focused on a determination of the limits of screen printing and on estabilishing a power loading of layers on LTCC. It describes the print of the conductive themes via the screen-printing method on the substrata. The thesis contains the description of a measuring on the conductive layers, and a processing its results. It was also performed the printing of layers on a corundum ceramics in order to compare the results. From the measured values were formed the graphs, which represent the possibility of the power loading of layers depending on the temperature and on the width of the thick-layer guide.
Planar Circuits Elements on Low Temperature Cofired Ceramics
Kosina, Petr ; Dřímal, Jiří (referee) ; Kolařík, Vladimír (referee) ; Šandera, Josef (advisor)
The present work deals with the design and manufacturing of 3D structures in LTCC (Low Temperatue Cofired Ceramics) technology. To use this technology LTCC workplaces have been designed and technological processes for high quality reproducible production were suggested. Technological possibilities of low temperature co-fired ceramics were demonstrated in the design and manufacturing of pressure sensors, electrode systems for ozone generators, planar circuit elements (coils and transformers) and in the design a special package for middle-power terahertz modulator. Design of selected parts of respective devices was proved by simulations in COMSOL Multiphysics. The work provides new insights into the structure of power integrated circuits sleeves and structure of electrode systems for different types of electrical discharges. Results of this work can contribute significantly in the application of planar circuit elements, in the development of different types of sensors, in the design of atypical types of packaging or in the design of electrode systems for capacitive coupled electrical discharges.
Liquid analysis sensor
Hanus, Martin ; Adámek, Martin (referee) ; Kosina, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with the mixing of liquids issues. The simulation of structure for mixing of liquids and evaluation of parametres which have most significant influence on mixing of liquids was made with help of COMSOL programm. In the next section of thesis the quality of electrodes used for cyclic voltammetry made on LTCC by thick layer technology was determined. In the end of this thesis the 3D structure for mixing of liquids was made. The quality of mixing was controlled by cyclic voltammetry.

Balcárek, Jan ; Kosina, Petr (referee) ; Bohrn, Marek (advisor)
It’s going on hardware modul, that display our required information on the display unit. This module is controlled with digital logic implemented to FPGA chip. Logic is designed to communication protocol by standard interface VGA.
The via interconnection in LTCC
Sedliak, Erik ; Klíma, Martin (referee) ; Kosina, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with manufacturing process of LTCC 3D structures. Emphasis is placed mainly on the formation of via interconnections. In the second section of thesis, different via interconnections were designed, created and tested. Aim of this thesis was to evalute impact of via properties on vias function.
Switched power supply
Krist, Jakub ; Kosina, Petr (referee) ; Pavlík, Michal (advisor)
The thesis is focused on design the switching power supply according to Push-pull topology rules. The work describes basic theoretic principles of Push-pull topology with design of circuit and circuit elements.
The pressure measuring using LTCC technology
Straka, Michal ; Řezníček, Michal (referee) ; Kosina, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with the problems of the pressure sensor made on a low temperature co-fired ceramics. The pressure sensor converts the measured physical quantity to the electrical signal. The strain-gauge, capacitive and optical sensors are used for scanning of the pressure. It is possible to construct the multilayer sensors with holes and cutouts, through the use of the 3D structure on LTCC sensors. The passive parts can be applied on this layer through the thin-layer or thick-layer technology, which creates conductible paths and contacts for parts and outlets. In the practical part of the work, a few construction types of pressure sensors are designed, implemented and measured. Emphasis is given to strain-gauge strip sensor and possible problems during its manufacture, lamination and deformation of burn-out.
SPC for LCD monitors production
Hořký, Petr ; Kosina, Petr (referee) ; Novotný, Radovan (advisor)
Statistical Process Control (SPC) is currently the most widely used analytic methods to monitor, control and improve the quality of manufactured product. The application of SPC is demonstrated by practical example from the LCD monitor production environment with a focus on LCD backlight sources analysis. The objective is to become familiar with the applied methods and SPC software support.
Design of experiments for quality optimization
Havlásek, Radim ; Kosina, Petr (referee) ; Novotný, Radovan (advisor)
This thesis is aimed to Design of Experiments methodology. Main purpose of this thesis is to create detailed materials for lessons of Design of Experiments in Quality Control courses. Thesis contains case studies which are applicable for education purposes. Design of Experiments has been applied for solder joints quality evaluation. Solder joints have been modeled in software ANSYS and finite element method has been applied for thermomechanical stress evaluation.
