Integration of an autistic person into the education

This thesis "Integration of an autistic person into the education? is a case study of a child with autism integrated into the standard education. The aim is to introduce the possibility of integrating a child with autism among other students. The theoretical part is aimed to the applicated theories, discovered and proven knowledge of autism disorders and the possibilities of integrating from available scientific resources. The practical part is an analysis of data collected from interviews, questionnaires and observation. A cardinal part is devoted to the positive development during the student's education.
Scientific and methodical preparation of teachers for practical teaching

Thesis deals with the overall preparedness of teachers for practical classes, describes a choice of recommended teaching methods for vocational subjects teaching, focuses on teaching course and teachers' preparation for practical teaching field look on SSRS Strakonice and introduces an international project in the field of gastronomy. The project is focused on traditional dishes of Norwegian and Czech cosine that were realized by students from participating countries.
The Personality and Social Competency Training for Upper Elementary School Children

The thesis deals with the issue of personal and social training of the second grade elementary school students. The first part considers basic terms which are somehow related to the topic. The practical part of the thesis includes a research which aims to examine the way personal and social studies are taught in the lessons at elementary schools, mainly with the second-graders. This part of the thesis shows the research results which aimed to investigate how the teachers are working with a cross-sectional topic of personal and social training and on a basis of which method they integrate this research into a process of teaching. The task was to find out if the teachers were integrating this topic intentionally or if the topic was used only accidentally in case it was somehow close to the topics of lessons. Another method used for surveying the issue was a direct observation and dialogues with the teachers.
Comparison of occurance and development of truancy among pupils attending basic schools in Prachatice district from year 1997 to 2007.

The bachelor thesis presents the topic of truancy of pupils attending basic schools in Prachatice district from year 1997 to 2007 and compares its development. The aim of the thesis is to use available literature to analyze reasons for truancy. Furthermore, it defines the solutions to this problem based on data obtained from basic school career advisers from Prachatice district. Finally, the bachelor thesis specifies frequency and reasons of this negative phenomenon occurring in Prachatice basic schools and gives a comparison of all the given data. The theoretical part provides an analysis of main reasons for origin of truancy which usually originate from family or school background. The other reasons tightly connected with these could be for example school phobias, bullying, negative evaluation, excessive emotional dependence or improper teacher{\crq}s influence. Next, using specialized literature, it analyses possible prevention of truancy origin, treatment of pupil{\crq}s unexcused absence, concerned subjects proceeding and the way of excusing pupil{\crq}s absence. The practical part of the bachelor thesis gives an analysis of statistical data obtained from career advisers working in basic schools in Prachatice district. The data are compared in order to find out the reasons for truancy and the ways of solution to this phenomenon occurring in basic schools in Prachatice district from year 1997 to 2007. Moreover, it compares and evaluates the participation of boys and girls in truancy in the given period. The results of the thesis will be provided to the Police of the Czech Republic, The Regional Police Directorate of the South Bohemian Region, the Local Department of the Police of the Czech Republic in Prachatice and Municipal Office in Prachatice {--} Department of Social Affairs, Division of Social and Legal Protection for Children, and for prevention activities in basic schools of Prachatice district.

This diploma thesis concerns the area of self-presentation of a teacher and effective use of his communication skills. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is theoretical and presents basic concepts of social communication and defines communication skills essential for effective teaching. The practical part is partly based on the output of a questionnaire survey where the author probes knowledge of communication skills of students of pedagogical faculty and how they evaluate their readiness for the profession of a teacher. Then the author provides a summary of the main rules of communication, necessary skills and practical recommendations. Summary of the main rules of communication, necessary skills and practical advice is also a guide that should help prevent problems with self-presentation and to mitigate or eliminate deficiencies in this area.

Discipline currently points to increased problem not only in school but also throughout society. Despite the great efforts of all of us there is no visible and satisfactory result. It is necessary to find a solution to this problem which would be effective and long lasting. You could say that discipline is something missing in our society. The aim of the work itself is an explanation of concept of discipline and clarification inappropriate behavior with possible solutions to the problems. The theoretical part will describe the most frequently used terms and forms of discipline and then there will be analysed the main determination of this problem. The practical part will be processed using the survey by teachers of secondary vocational schools Netolice and Prachatice. Questionnaire for teachers will focus on the perception of discipline of their pupils and how they criticize and solve inappropriate behavior.
Verbal Educational Communication in Vocational Training at Secondary Vocational Schools

Verbal communication is currently a major problem of adolescent students. The vocational training at secondary vocational schools is not enough, but the big emphasis is insisted on teaching communication, especially on the verbal part, because students feel more connected with the activity of interpretation. Young people are our future so we have to prepare for them the best way of life in addition to family background the most active institutions are schools. The aim of the work will determine the problem of teacher's verbal communication with students in vocational training at secondary vocational schools. The theoretical part will be described in the educational communication training focusing on specific aspects and problems of verbal communication in this organizational form. The practical part will be processed using the questionnaire survey of teachers. The aim will be to determine what problems meet teachers in verbal communication in the vocational training.
Student´s learning styles

The main topics of this thesis are students? learning styles. The text is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The former deals with the students? learning styles in a theoretical way. Basic idea is mapping of the fundamental concepts of pedagogical educational process and the definition outline of the main concept of a learning style. The text deals with the possibilities of influencing a learning style from the student?s part, as well as from the teacher?s or other external ones. There are defined and described the types of learning styles, its diagnostics, potentials of influence and possible changes in the former part of this thesis. The latter, practical-based, part focuses at comparison of learning styles of secondary vocational schools (finished by the leaving exam) students and grammar schools students. In the process of qualitative research there are two aims set and two hypotheses pertaining to each of these aims. The first aim is to find out which learning style students prefer regarding the school type they attend. There are two hypotheses pertaining to this aim. The first one presumes that secondary vocational school students prefer the strategic style, whereas the second hypothesis presumes that grammar schools students prefer the in-depth learning style. The second aim is to discover what intelligence skills students use regarding the school type. Again, there are two hypotheses pertaining to this aim. The first one presumes that secondary vocational school students tend to use the interpersonal intelligence skills in the learning process, whereas the second hypothesis presumes that grammar school students prefer to use the logical and mathematic skills in the learning process. The information detected by the questionnaire research is graphically demonstrated in diagrams with comments. The findings about confirmation or disproval of the hypotheses are summarized in the discussion and conclusion parts.
Teachers' and pupils' attitudes in teaching and learning English

This diploma thesis deals with teachers´ and pupils´ attitudes in teaching English at elementary school. At first, the theoretical part focuses on explanations of main notions related with this theme, on attitudes forming between pupils and teachers in school background and on factors influencing their common interaction. Next, it devotes to the status of English as a foreign language not only in worldwide basis but also within school curriculum at elementary schools. The practical part tries to find out what language attitudes of the chosen pupils there are in teaching English. Principally, it focuses on the attitude towards English as a foreign language, the English lesson, particular activities in English lessons, towards the teacher and it also finds out the pupils´ reasons for learning English.
