Repická, Barbora ; Navrátil, Jiří (advisor) ; Deverová, Lenka (referee)
ANOTATION The theoretical thesis should point out the development and transformation of power, its mutual relationships and social control, all through discourse analysis of political practice of corporate social responsibility (CSR). Except of other theoretical thinkers, for example later Nikolas Rose, Michel Foucault mostly contributed to these phenomenons. Because power is socially constructed phenomenon and it depends on particular context, we are going to follow development and transformation of power on the concept of CSR. Concept of CSR will give us the frame for this analysis and helps us to recognize moments in CSR practices where the Foucault's model of governing, the concept of power and knowledge, discursive and disciplination practices are present. Also Rose's concepts of market texhniques and rise of new subject and subjectivity. These terms help us to cover economical and market practices on the background of firm's social and enviromental responsibility. KEY WORDS Corporate social responsibility, power relations, social control, disciplination, discoursive practice, subject of consumption, discoursive analysis
Collaboration forms between Business and Nonprofits within CSR strategies
Řehounková, Václava ; Dohnalová, Marie (advisor) ; Deverová, Lenka (referee)
Recently in the Czech Republic, more attention has been focused on the social responsibility of companies. Companies become members of professional platforms, in which they gain and deepen their knowledge. The vital part of CSR is cooperation within the civil sector. The goal of this thesis is to focus on this cooperation within the Czech environment. For my own research I have been using the typology of the authors Wymer and Samu, who look at different ways of management and the benefits gained from different types of cooperation. I compare and find differences in this typology through analysis of documents and questionnaires of companies active in professional platforms. The cooperation established between companies and NGOs is different in the case of agreements on the use of the logo and the name of non-profit organizations, sponsorship, joint issue promotion and corporate philanthropy, both greater involvements of the non-profit sector, and given benefits.

The document analysis showed which criteria (according to the TESSEA approach) were fulfilled by the chosen organization and which were not. Furthermore, there were analysed the mechanisms causing that the certain criteria were not fulfilled. These data were obtained through the interviews with the representatives of the organization. Finally, it is possible to conclude that the subject of the research fulfilled the criteria of the TESSEA approach. There were introduced the factors explaining why the criteria were not fulfilled. According to the representatives of the chosen organization among these main factors belonged the lack of financial and time resources, the lack of know-how, the legislative boundaries or the modeling the organization after commercial enterprises.
