Simulation of Data Transmissions in Integrated Networks
Rozsypal, Pavel ; Endrle, Pavel (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
The goal of this assignment was to analyze the issue of data transfer in integrated networks focusing on quality of service. The thesis describes the various network elements, their function, advantages and disadvantages. Attention was also paid to neural networks, with a focus on the analogy between biological neuron and the artificial neuron. Another part of paper was dedicated to the simulation possibilities of these network in MATLAB. To simulate the behavior of network elements was used OPNET IT Guru software.
Laboratory exercise "OpenVPN virtual networks"
Kortus, Jiří ; Endrle, Pavel (referee) ; Burda, Karel (advisor)
This thesis describes the principles of virtual private networks (VPN) and briefly mentions the main protocols and methods for VPN deployment. After that, it aims on a more detailed description of the OpenVPN characteristics. It describes its properties and possibilities and discusses their advantages and disadvantages. In the following part, it focues on a laboratory exercise concerning OpenVPN deployment. It discusses the possibilities of the laboratory exercise design mainly from the technical and didactic point of view. Considering them, a concept of the exercise with one OpenVPN server and one client is presented. The exercise simulates a solution of a practical, commonly emerging problem with unwanted Internet access restrictions caused by misconfigured or too restrictive firewalls. The concept comprises both theoretical part and directions, as well as images of the virtual machines used in the exercise. In addition, different possibilities of a further expansion of the exercise or its use as a base for another exercise are mentioned.
Modern network security trends of 802.11 standard
Customer Satisfaction Analysis and Proposals for its Improvement
Endrle, Pavel ; Kostková, Věra (referee) ; Jaroš, Jiří (advisor)
This master's thesis analyzes customer satisfaction of specific company and defines the methods and recommendations for improvement based on this analysis. Theoretical part is aimed at describing methods used in the analysis of satisfaction, which are then used for main research in the practical part of thesis. Methods and actions designed to increase customer's satisfaction based on main analysis of described company are proposed in practical part of thesis.
Optimalization and analysis of communication services latency dependencies
Zikmund, Lukáš ; Škorpil, Vladislav (referee) ; Endrle, Pavel (advisor)
This master’s thesis is focused on ensuring of Quality of Service (QoS) in wireless network for standards IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n. First part of this thesis is focused on the theory of this issue. It covers methods of data transfer in computer networks and individual transfer parameters especially on parameters needed to ensure quality of service. It also describes standards for wireless data transmission and protocols for real time data transmission. The second part is devoted to OPNET modeler and to simulations created on this program. Simulations are focused on real-time data transfer and compare the standards in terms of delay and jitter.
QoS optimization and modern communication services delay analysis
Novák, Přemek ; Škorpil, Vladislav (referee) ; Endrle, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis consists of theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part contains an analysis of the problems of wireless networkssolutions individual standards and methodologies to ensure quality of service. In the practical part using the OPNET Modeler, a number of different simulation models and their evaluation. It is a model of individual standards, support mobility and interference effects on quality of service.
Distance measurement using sensors of mobile phone
Hubr, Ivo ; Endrle, Pavel (referee) ; Lattenberg, Ivo (advisor)
Distance and the associated parameters can be measured by specific sensors mobile device. Introduction The work focuses on the description of the sensors and the effects on their accuracy. To measure the distance, there is a number of good practices, which were described and demonstrated the application implemented source code for the Android platform. The project works with a total of three sensors, namely accelerometer, magnetometer and camera. The main objective of this work is the definition and application of methods for measuring distance using the appropriate sensors.
Analysis of delay dependence of modern communication services and channels, QoS optimization
Rozman, Jiří ; Szőcs, Juraj (referee) ; Endrle, Pavel (advisor)
The main aim of this thesis is to familiarize with options of services using real-time data transfer in wireless networks. Theoretical part presents wireless network based on IEEE 802.11 standard and its practical use. Large part is focuses on 802.11e standart, that provides support for quality of service in wireless networks. Furthemore this thesis deals with transport and applicaton protocols supporting multimedia streaming over computer network. Second chapter is focused on analyzing real computer network with purpose in measuring parametrs influencing quality of service such as bandwith, delay, jitter and loss. Last part deals with the design of wireless network in OPNET Modeler enviroment with focus on simulating parameters that influence quality of service.
Innovative Routing Protocols
Rouča, Tomáš ; Endrle, Pavel (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis was to get acquainted with the technology of routing data in a computer network. Thesis described in the theoretical level properties of current and past routing protocols and their use in information systems. Based on the acquired knowledge was created a simulation model of network communication in programming environment OPNET Modeler. This model analyzes the received parameters of the current protocols and their subsequent implementation in the real transmission technology using operating system Debian Linux. Finally, the transfer parameters are discussed between the simulation model and real transfer technology.
802.11 standard security techniques and their features
Endrle, Pavel ; Pust, Radim (referee) ; Pfeifer, Václav (advisor)
This master´s thesis is about 802.11 standard security techniques and their features. Particular types of this standard and its features are shown in the introduction. Wireless network security cypher alghoritm types, their features, weaknesses and principles of functions are closely described in next few chapters.
