Theoretical Background for Predicting the Properties of Petroleum Fluids via Group Contribution Methods
Bogdanić, Grozdana ; Pavlíček, Jan ; Wichterle, Ivan
The major problem encountered in the petroleum industry lies in the proper thermodynamic representation of rather complex fluids. In this work, the UNIFAC group contribution method for predicting the properties of such fluids has been exploited as a basis for their description in terms of model compounds. Standard thermodynamic procedures are used to estimate the critical properties, acentric factors, and molecular weights for the model compounds. In such a way, the already available generalized methods can be used for calculations of the phase equilibrium in complex petroleum mixtures.

Role of commercial banks in support of small and medium sized enterprises' export in Czech republic
Pavlíček, Jiří ; Černohlávková, Eva (advisor) ; Nejedlý, Michal (referee)
Bachelor thesis aims at analysing services connected with support of small and medium sized enterprises' export, which are provided by commercial banks. The thesis do not focus just on description of services, but also analyses relation between state (or international) institutions and commercial banks. It beggins with description of banking in the Czech republic and definition of small and medium sized enterprises and shows reasons for the support. In second part, there is written about main state and international institutions providing support to small and medium sized enterprises. In the end, products provided by commercial banks are described.

Modelling of regional demand for housing in Czech Republic - teoretical principles and application
Pavlíček, Jiří ; Čadil, Jan (advisor) ; Toth, Petr (referee)
This thesis is focused on simulation of demand for housing and formation of prices on the real estate market in Czech Republic. Theorethic introduction discribes microeconomic demand theory and spatial demand based on localization theory. The basic theory advences in demand for housing, that is focused on heterogeneousness, price, localization and types of living. Principal aim of this thesis is the empirical analysis and simulation of regional demand on the real estate market. Empiric analysis consists of dynamic and static model of demand for housing in Czech Republic etc..
