Next chapter presents the applicable sets of rules, which can govern the contract of carriage in transport and names sources of law used in the field of carriage of goods. The fourth chapter describes types of contracts that can be used for domestic and international carriage. The fifth chapter describes road carrier's liability for parcel damage, loss and other damages and mentions the possibilities of compensation methods, the content of compensation and damages. The conclusion can be found in the sixth chapter. I summarize here the main aspects of the domestic and international carriage of goods.
The competition on a passenger car transportation market
Jírů, Michal ; Švarc, Zbyněk (advisor) ; Štěpánek, Petr (referee)
This bachelor thesis analyses newly arose competition on a passenger car transportation market. The main aim of the thesis is to describe this competition by the presentation of concrete services, which are Uber, WunderCar, Liftago, upTAXI and Jízdomat. I also try to appraise the legitimacy of principles, on which these services stand, and to compare main factors of transportation. On these factors I evaluate transport opportunities and benefit of presented services. For better comprehension of the issue there a description and legislation of personal transport and taxi. It results from the thesis, that all presented services are just intermediaries of the transport so they are not responsible for the transport by itself. Drivers, who use these services for offering transport, are responsible for breaking of the rules of passenger car transportation. The main benefits of presented services are: using of new technologies, making this type of transportation more effective and increasing of affordability for passengers.

There are also analyzed the cancelled perfomances and the question of edgibility against the extra performances. Finally there are sumarized some recommendations for both countries to improve their legal basis in this area.
Predictability of wind famrs operated by Amper-Market company
Farda, Aleš ; Rajdl, Kamil ; Štěpánek, Petr
This report contains an analysis of the electric energy production of wind power plants of the company Amper Market a.s. from the point of view of its predictability, with the main objective of determining the potential accuracy of hourly predictions of the power production. To calculate the analyzed predictions a regression forecasting model utilizing wind speed and direction in two height levels is used. The necessary values of these meteorological variables are obtained from three numerical weather prediction models – Aladin, EPS Aladin and IFS. The accuracy of the energy production predictions is optimized regarding the choice of suitable geographical points for obtaining outputs of the numerical models, the combine utilization of the models and individual setting of the regression model for the single power plants. The analysis was performed based on data from the period January 2013 to April 2014.
Quality control and homogeneity testing of daily time series of eca ECA&D
Zahradníček, Pavel ; Štěpánek, Petr ; Farda, Aleš ; Skalák, Petr
For any meaningful climate analysis, it is necessary for analysed time series to be homogeneous, which means that their variations are caused solely by variations in weather and climate (Conrad and Pollak 1950). Th us, prior to any analysis, the need to homogenize data and check their quality arises. Unfortunately, most of the climatological series that span over decades, to centuries, contain inhomogeneities caused by station relocations, exchange of observers, changes in the vicinity of the stations (e.g. urbanization), changes in instruments, observing practices (e.g. diff erent formulas for calculating daily means, diff erent observation times), etc. In this work we focused on testing the quality and homogeneity of daily data produced by ECA&D. Th is is a free available dataset of daily meteorological elements from the European Climate Assessment & Dataset (http://eca.knmi.nl/). Th is database was used to create a regular grid of EOBS points, which are oft en used to validate climate models.
Comparison of corrected and uncorrected model simulations in the perspective of climate change in the area of the Czech Republic
Štěpánek, Petr ; Farda, Aleš ; Zahradníček, Pavel ; Skalák, Petr
In recent years, simulations from various regional climate models became available for the area of the Czech Republic, thanks to several national and international projects (e.g. the EC FP6 projects CECILIA, ENSEMBLES or the national project VaV SP/1a6/108/07). Th e simulations of all the models were performed according to the IPCC A1B emission scenario with various spatial resolutions. Since models suff er from biases, the model outputs were statistically corrected using the quantile approach of M. Déqué. Aft er correction, the RCM outputs were statistically processed and analyzed, especially for air temperature and precipitation, but also for other elements (like relative humidity, wind speed and sunshine duration). In this study, the diff erences between models outputs, as well as the corrected and uncorrected results, are presented.
