Evaluation of the financial health of the companies involved in the network

This thesis analyzes an inter-business network, focusing on the financial analysis of the individual entities of this network and a detailed study of the financial health of the companies of which it is made of. At first, the theoretical presents methods and indicators in the field of financial analysis. Subsequently, cluster analysis is applied to research similarities between individual entities in the network and to create clusters, which contributes to a better understanding of the structure of this network. Subsequently, the network economics and the analysis of the structure of the core and periphery are defined. The practical part is devoted to a selected business network and characterizes the businesses of this network in more detail. It mainly includes the analysis of the business network using selected prediction models and financial indicators. Furthermore, the results of the prediction models are used for further analysis using cluster analysis. At the end of this work, the achieved results will be summarized and gradually evaluated. In the last part of this work, specific recommendations are formulated based on the results of this work and the conclusion of this work, resulting from the performed analysis, is determined here.

This work focuses on the use of analysis of selected financial indicators that assess the financial health of the company and statistical tools with which their development is determinated. The aim of the work is to assess the current situation of the company and identify appropriate solutions from unfavorable values and development that would improve the financial situation of the company.

The last part of the master´s thesis, proposal part contains solution increasing financial stability and leading to desirable development of business activities of the selected company.

The master´s thesis evaluates the economic situation of the company SCHWARTZ TECHNICKÉ PLASTY ČR s. r. o. using statistical methods. The theoretical part describes the issues necessary for the practical part, financial indicators, time series, regression and correlation analysis. In the practical part is an analysis of selected indicators of financial analysis, then statistical methods are used to predict future developments for the coming two years and to detect dependencies between the indexes. The last section contains suggestions for improving the current situation, which are based on calculations from the practical part.

The work is divided into free chapters, the first chapter is focused on the theoretical foundations of the work. The second chapter presents the current financial condition of the company and the third chapter proposes measures and interventions that can help improve the financial condition of key areas.

The Impact of The Consolidation on The Economic Situation of The Company

The thesis deals with the issue of consolidated financial statement in a selected holding and in its economic appreciation before the expansion of the consolidated group and after its change. The first part of the thesis includes theoretical knowledge for consolidated financial statement which are subsequently applied in the creation of new consolidated financial statements related to the expansion of the consolidated group. The conclusion of the thesis is dedicted to the comparison of consolidated financial statements.
