Evaluation of paragliding theory test items for pilot license applicants
Šťastná, Johana ; Honsová, Šárka (advisor) ; Hendl, Jan (referee)
EVALUATION OF PARAGLIDING THEORY TEST ITEMS FOR PILOT LICENSE APPLICANTS Objectives: The aim of this work is to evaluate and optimize a set of paragliding the theoretical items appropriate for testing pilot license applicants of LAA ČR. Methods: This aim is realized by means of the theory of testing. Basic methods of testing form the background research of this work. The items were de- signed as multiple-choice, to select one correct answer. These items were assigned to the applicants for pilot licenses and were evaluated by the apparatus of testing. Microsoft Excel 2003 was used for collecting data and results evaluation. The computation according to the formulas in the theoretical part was performed in Matlab 2007b. Based on this analysis, the results were presented and optimization of these items was proposed. Results: Three hypotheses were examined in this work. The first dealt with a rela- tion between evaluated difficulty of test items and their points value, which was assigned by the LAA ČR. The second hypothesis concerned the number of used distractors. The third hypothesis was focused on the sensitivity of the items. The evaluated difficulty of test items matched items point value in 26 % of the number of items. 92 % of the alterna- tives were used and sufficient sensitivity had 78 % of...
Somatotype comparison of current UK FTVS students and UK FTVS students forty years ago
Zapala, Michal ; Honsová, Šárka (advisor) ; Kovářová, Lenka (referee)
Title: Somatotype comparison of current UK FTVS students and UK FTVS students forty years ago. Objectives: Main aim of the theses is to compare the current level of student's somatic prerequisites to successful performance studies at UK FTVS in comparison with the somatic level of students studied forty years ago. Another aim of the theses is to illustrate method for measuring body fat by calliper. Subject and Methods: The total set consists of 901 somatotypes of students UK FTVS. Somatotypes were processed from protocols on the results of measurements, which contains the components values of somatotype and somatic parameters necessary for their determination. Processed values of somatotype were compared through statistical processes and through somatocharts. The illustration was created with a pencil simply in a lines with a minimal of shading. Results: Endomorphic components of somatotypes increased in a comparation with a set of students who studied fourty years ago. Higher values could have result in difficulties with fulfilment of practical credit requirements of endurance skills. Conversely mesomorphic components are lower against second set of students. It may result in difficulties with fulfilment of practical credit requirements of power skills. Keywords: somatotype, retrospective study,...
Relationship of biological age of children and their success in karate
Peřinka, Filip ; Honsová, Šárka (advisor) ; Chytráčková, Jitka (referee)
and key words The definition of problematicity: According to the date of birth, the whole population expresses their age numerically, sometimes known as the calendar or chronological year. Nevertheless, from the biological point of view, this statement can be misrepresented in the meaning. The real and precise age, here we mean the biological age, can be different. The Aim: The aim of my batchelor thesis is to consider and evaluate the populational biological age of children doing karate, ranging from 10-15 years. We want to find out whether the biological age has any impact on karate competitions' results. The methods: There is a group of individuals, including boys and girls, who accomplish the criteria for the evaluation. One of them is the approximate achievement of the same technical level of the karateist and the minimal two years competition's attendance. According to Brauer, the biological determination of the year will not only be carried out by the proportional method (in Riegerová, Přidalová, Ulbrichová, 2006; Riegerová, Sedlak, 1996; Riegerová, 1984) but also by the help of orientational growing age of children. Next, we compare the calendar and biological age and evaluate them. All results gained from the survey, will be compared with the anthropological research of Czech population,...
The influence of free marketing communication tools on potential customers' behavior in field of swimming in small business
Dostálová, Sabina ; Honsová, Šárka (advisor) ; Šíma, Jan (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the influence of free marketing communication tools on potential customers` behavior in 3FIT Swim School. The most effective communication tools were presented using frequency based on the internal statistics containing the data of all potential customers interested in swim lessons and new customers who have ordered a swim lesson. Title: The influence of free marketing communication tools on potential customers` behavior in the swimming field of start up companies Objectives: The goal of this thesis is to evaluate the influence of free communication tools on customer`s behavior. We aim to analyze the number of requests expressing the potential customer`s interest in private swim lessons in 3FIT Swim School during the reporting period, always stressing out the free communication tools. Methods: The longitudinal retrospective study was set as a method. It deals with an empirical research in which the selected objective is being evaluated during a certain reporting period. The primary data of 3FIT Swim School were used for this thesis. Results: Based on the results of the study we consider each of the selected communication tools as a source of new customers. The highest number of requests was received directly on the pool deck, where business cards were given to the...

Diagnosis navigational skills with a focus on accuracy assessment distance
Uhrová, Denisa ; Honsová, Šárka (advisor) ; Krištofič, Jaroslav (referee)
Title Diagnosis navigational skills with a focus on accuracy assessment distance Objectives The aim is to determine, on the basis of results obtained from testing two groups of athletes from various sports, where are placed greater demands on accurate distance estimates. Specifically, the following tested sports: gymnastics and soccer. The goal is to determine which of these sports more developed navigational skills and gives greater potential for better and more accurate distance estimates. Methods The basic task was to estimate distances for testing athletes in gymnastics and football. After obtaining the necessary results, it was possible to summarize and subsequent comparison (comparison) data. When data sorting method was used for the analysis and summary of the resulting data was used synthesis method. It is a comparative observational research with quantitative research technique used - testing. Type the scientific method was empirical. It is a cross- sectional study, the data were single. Data was processed using the Mann Whitney test. Results By comparing the results of our sample groups tested in six motor tests focused on navigation skills was found that gymnastics does not give individuals greater prerequisites for a better and more accurate distance estimates. Keywords: Motor ability,...
Somatic characteristics of female figure skaters in the Czech Republic
Kroulíková, Soňa ; Honsová, Šárka (advisor) ; Kovářová, Lenka (referee)
SOMATIC CHARACTERISTICS OF FEMALE FIGURE SKATERS IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC Objectives: The aim of the thesis is to find out specific somatic characteristics and somatotypes of female figure skaters in the Czech Republic. Subsequently relationships between measured somatic characteristics and normative of general population, and relationships between actual data and previous studies of female figure skaters are being examined. Methods: We use somatometric measurements to determine selected somatic characteristics (weight, height, eg.). We use the Heath-Carter method of somatotyping. Results: Female figure skaters are smaller than general population of the same age. In terms of physical height, one half of figure skaters is above population average while second half is under the average of population. Female figure skaters in this study are taller and heavier than figure skaters in previous study (Šelingerová, 1988) and they are more endomorphic. Prevailing somatotype is mesomorphic endomorph. Keywords: figure skating, somatic characteristics, somatotype, Heath-Carter method
