Bakalářská práce se věnuje problematice týkající se daňové konkurence mezi původními členskými státy a novými členskými státy Evropské unie z pohledu příjmových daní. Daňová konkurence má své přívržence i odpůrce, a tak o ni nelze s určitostí říci, zda má být považována za prospěšnou nebo naopak za škodlivou. S touto problematikou úzce souvisí daňová harmonizace a koordinace. Evropská unie se proti daňové konkurenci snaží bojovat právě pomocí daňové harmonizace. Daňová harmonizace z pohledu příjmových daní v Evropské unii zatím nenašla uplatnění. O myšlence harmonizovat daně z příjmů, a to zejména korporátní daně, je stále jednáno. Cílem práce je ověřit hypotézu, zda existuje daňová konkurence mezi jednotlivými skupinami členských států Evropské unie. Ke zhodnocení tohoto vztahu mezi skupinami členských států budou využity daňové sazby a daňové základy daní z příjmů právnických a fyzických osob. This bachelor thesis deal with issues related to tax competition between the original member states and new member states of the European Union of income taxes. Tax competition has supporters and opponents, and so for it is impossible to say when it should be considered useful or harmful. These issues are closely related to tax harmonization and coordination. The European Union is against tax competition just trying to fight through tax harmonization. The idea of harmonizing of income tax, particularly corporate taxes, it is still treated. The aim is to verify the hypothesis whether there is tax competition between groups of member states of the European Union. To evaluate the relationship between groups of member states will use to tax rates and tax bases of corporate income taxes and individuals.
