Original title: Mode Change in Real-time Component Systems - Suitable Form of Run-Time Variability in Resource Constrained Environments
Authors: Outlý, M. ; Pop, T. ; Bureš, Tomáš
Document type: Research reports

Series: Technical Report, volume: 2011/7
Abstract: The document describes and examines possibilities of run-time vari- ability in real-time embedded component systems. Namely it formally describes sup- port of operating modes. The report introduces a recon guration mechanism based on properties and relations between them. The mechanism is designed to facilitate a straight forward modeling of operating modes and recon guration rules and pre- serves re-usability of assembled components. The report also presents a realization of the mechanism suitable for the domain of embedded real-time systems.
