Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem pěstounské péče, kterou provádějí prarodiče. Prarodiče jsou specifickou skupinou, která je v pěstounské péči velmi početně zastoupena. Cílem bakalářské práce bylo zjistit zkušenosti sociálních pracovníků, kteří pěstouny prarodiče doprovázejí, a dále zmapovat výhody i nevýhody pěstounské péče prarodičů. Cíl byl dosažen použitím kvalitativního výzkumu, metodou dotazování, technikou neřízeného rozhovoru. Rozhovory probíhaly se sociálními pracovníky doprovázejících organizací v Jihočeském kraji. Získaná data byla zpracována pomocí otevřeného kódování a následně metodou vytváření trsů. Z výsledků vyplynulo, že doprovázení prarodičů je těžší, než se zdá. Sociální pracovník musí mít znalosti ohledně jiných služeb, které lze doporučit v případě, že jeho kompetence nedosahují do dané problematiky. Prarodiče jsou specifická skupina, ke které je třeba přistupovat jiným způsobem než k ostatním pěstounům. Při doprovázení je důležitá spolupráce mezi doprovázejícími organizacemi a příslušným orgánem sociálně-právní ochrany dětí. Výsledky ukázaly určitá rizika, která se mohou objevit během pěstounské péče prarodičů. Řadíme sem prarodiče, kteří se vžili do role rodiče tak, že neříkají dítěti celý příběh toho, že se ocitlo v pěstounské péči. S tím souvisí skutečnost, že prarodiče dítěti nevypráví rodinnou historii a dítě může v budoucnu postrádat svou identitu. Dále snaha prarodičů o finanční přilepšení z dávek pěstounské péče. Tato práce může sloužit jako informační materiál pro sociální pracovníky v doprovázejících organizacích a upozornit na výhody i nevýhody pěstounské péče prarodičů. The bachelor thesis deals with the topic of foster care by grandparents. Grandparents are a specific group that is very widespread in foster care. The aim of the thesis was to explore experiences of social workers that support grandparent foster care, and to map its advantages and disadvantages. The goal was achieved using several methods: qualitative research, the questionnaire method, and uncontrolled interview technique. The interviews took place with social workers of foster care agencies in South Bohemia. The acquired data was processed via open coding and subsequently clustering. The results indicate that supporting grandparents is more difficult than expected. The social worker has to have knowledge of other services, which can be recommended in case his/her competencies do not cover the particular issue. Grandparents are a very specific group, which must be approached in a different manner to other foster care providers. When supporting them, the cooperation between foster care agencies and the corresponding authorities of socio-legal protection of children is very important. The results showed some risks that can occur during grandparent foster care. These include grandparents who have taken on the role of a parent by not telling the child the whole story of why they are in foster care. This is related to the fact that grandparents do not tell the child the family history and the child may lack his or her identity in the future. In addition, the grandparents' efforts to make financial gains from foster care benefits. This work can function as informational material for social workers in foster care agencies and highlight the advantages and disadvantages of foster care by grandparents.
