Teoretická část práce se zabývá příčinami a rozdělením kardiopulmonální resuscitace (KPR) a její historií. Dále popisuje anatomii a poukazuje na základní rozdíly mezi anatomií dítěte a dospělého. Práce také zmiňuje nejnovější vědecké poznatky týkající se KPR. Experimentální část byla provedena pomocí kvantitativního výzkumu, který byl proveden formou dotazníkového šetření. Dotazník byl distribuován mezi záchranáře Kraje Vysočina a Jihomoravského kraje, přičemž celkový počet respondentů činil 58. V rámci výzkumného šetření byly stanoveny čtyři hypotézy, které analyzovaly rozdíly mezi těmito regiony na základě předem definovaných cílů. Výsledky ukázaly, že teoretické znalosti algoritmu PALS a ALS jsou v obou krajích na srovnatelné úrovni. Připravenost zdravotnických záchranářů zajistit cévní vstup u pediatrických pacientů byla hodnocena jako dostatečná, ačkoli byla zjištěna potřeba tréninku v této oblasti. Informovanost o kompetencích farmakoterapie během KPR byla dostatečná. Schopnost rozeznat defibrilovatelné a nedefibrilovatelné rytmy byla na srovnatelné úrovni v obou krajích. Tato bakalářská práce může sloužit jako podklad pro zlepšení výcviku a přípravy zdravotnických pracovníků na resuscitace dospělých a dětských pacientů, což přispěje k celkovému zkvalitnění péče v akutních situacích. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the causes and division of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and its history. It also describes the anatomy and highlights the basic differences between the anatomy of a child and an adult. The work also mentions the latest scientific findings regarding CPR. The experimental part was carried out with the help of quantitative research, which was conducted in the form of a questionnaire survey. The questionnaire was distributed among rescuers of the Vysočina Region and the South Moravian Region, with the total number of respondents amounting to 58. Four hypotheses were set within the research investigation to analyse the differences between these regions based on predefined objectives. The results showed that the theoretical knowledge of the PALS and ALS algorithms is at a comparable level in both regions. The preparedness of paramedics to provide vascular access in pediatric patients was rated as adequate, although a need for training in this area was identified. Awareness of pharmacotherapy competencies during CPR was adequate.The ability to distinguish between defibrillatable and nondefibrillatable rhythms was at a comparable level in both regions. This bachelor's thesis can serve as a basis for improving the training and preparation of health care workers for adult and pediatric CPR, which will contribute to the overall improvement of care in acute situations
