Tato kvalifikační práce se zabývá španělským rodem Verdugo, který se do Království českého dostal s vojsky, která bojovala za habsburskou stranu v bitvě na Bílé hoře. Na základě služby vládnoucímu rodu se tomuto španělskému rodu podařilo získat majetky v Čechách a usadit se tam. Tato práce v první řadě bude zkoumat samotný rod Verdugo, který měl své příslušníky jak ve střední Evropě, tak v Království španělském. Pozornost bude věnována rodinným vztahům příslušníků rodu. Taktéž bude popsána nová generace rodu Verdugo, která se již usadila v Království českém. Další část práce se zaměří na komunikační síť zkoumaného rodu. Ta bude analyzována na základě bratrské korespondence Jana a Františka Verdugo, a také dalších komunikačních aktérů, které lze rozdělit na agenty, klienty a zprostředkovatele. This master's thesis explores the Spanish Verdugo family who arrived in the Kingdom of Bohemia as combatants in the Battle of White Mountain, supporting the Habsburgs. Due to their contributions to the ruling family, they obtained various properties in Bohemia and established permanent residence there. The Verdugo family, whose members lived throughout Central Europe and the Kingdom of Spain, will be the main subject of this thesis. The family's interactions with each other and the new generation of the Verdugo family - who had settled in the Kingdom of Bohemia - will also be discussed. Subsequently, the thesis will examine the family's communication networks via an analysis of the fraternal correspondence of John and Francis Verdugo, alongside various other communication actors classified as agents, clients and brokers.
