Abstract: [slo] [eng]

Keywords: and assessing surface morphology using scanning electron microscopy and interferometric profilometry. Chemical and phase compositions are also analyzed to obtain a better understanding of the porocess . The results demonstrate the effectiveness of electrochemical polishing in improving surface quality by removing the majority of embedded particles and reducing surface roughness by more than 70% when using optimal conditions; as well as more complex samples; enhancing the overall functionality of the components. The experimental section includes electropolishing of simple-shaped; evaluating optimal times for selected electrolyte used; the study aims to reduce surface roughness; thereby proposing methodology for enhancing the performance and safety of Ti6Al4V components in demanding applications.; This diploma thesis explores the modification of surface morphology of components manufactured from the titanium alloy Ti6Al4V using Selective Laser Melting (SLM). The primary objective is to find suitable conditions for electrochemical polishing to remove powder particles embedded in the surface; which can compromise the functionality and longevity of the components in applications such as aerospace and biomedicine.
